Lovely post, darling, humorous and thought-provoking both. I wonder if there are women out there that are truly happy with themselves? Seems as if we are all in this constant search for perfection. And our own "Perfection" mirrors certainly don't work well for us when we look in them, but as you said, its amazing how when another woman looks at our reflection in the mirror, all THEY see is perfection. When it comes down to it, no one really is and I guess that's what we have to keep remembering. I think girl crushes are, indeed, born of insecurity and envy -- we never have one on someone that doesn't look like she walked off a magazine!
