My mother wasn't too traditional, so I doubt she put azabaches on us (which can explain a couple of things) however, I made sure my children and grandchildren all had their "Dios me Bendiga" gold pin con azabache. ::crossing myself & kissing thumb knuckle:: Loving these great giveaways; gracias y BB2U.

My parents came to the states in 1951 as teenagers and met in a NY highschool. My mother was a lover of all things Anglo/English and a super SciFi follower (♥ Benny Hill and Dr. Who) so it surprised us all that her last wish was to be cremated and her ashes thrown over the playas de Varadero. My aunt had to smuggle them in, but her wishes were carried out. I guess the beauty of the island and the happy memories never truly left her. BB2U

"Trust in the Lord with all your Heart" That song always brings tears to my eyes. Worry is the lack of trust in Him, but it's so hard to remember that isn't it? As a matter of fact, I was just worrying about something when I got to your post from the weekend showcase hop. Thank you for the reminder. I hummed the song and the tears washed the worry away. Proof there's no such thing as "chance" and no need to worry. BB2U
Happy Happy to you Jon- FELICIDADES!! P.S. Marta, you can always call them your babies- just not where they can hear you. ; ) BB2U

What do I enjoy the most about your blog? Mujer, why don't you ask a simple question like "What is my reason for being?" Oops, mi mala, in your case they kinda go together. ; ) Keep telling your stories Marta, they're the little bit of home many of us need and look forward to. BB2U

Here from the MOHTH Showcase. Glad to know BB's not the only one who understands how "inanimate" objects become a part of us, thus we name them. Unfortunately in this case Nora was not a welcomed part. Glad you decided to do to her what we should all do to annoying unwanted visitors; Smile & show them the way out. Abrazos of strength to you mujer- you've got yourself a new follower waiting for your return. BB2U
