Wow oh wow, Car Wars and Talisman. Sometimes I wish I could spare the time and go to my local game shop and do a showcase of some of the old classics instead of that Yu-Gi-Oh crap they play now (might be out of touch haven't gone to a store in a long time but I still see people playing at my local Carls Jr so I assume its still popular.)

Funny but true story. One day at my day job working for a grocery store, a new co-worker was commenting on one of your books I was reading in the Break room "Happiest Days of Our Lives". She said "Ah Wil Wheaton, isn't he someone famous?" My comment "Yes he was in Stand By Me and ST TNG" Her comment: Sigh, I wish I could meet someone famous like him. My comment: Err you do realize you bagged his order this afternoon?

Err Wil, love the story and all but ya know you could have asked someone for newer OJ :O) or even help pushing it back if there wasn't any more. Would have been happy to get you one. Just saying...

Oh boy this brings back memories. My family owned an arcade called Pirate's Cove in Monterey Park CA way back when. I in fact had Galaga in the living room (the arcade cabinet).

Hey Wil I never got into D+D too much but ya know your stories about your sessions have at least gotten me interested again. I don't even know of groups in the Arcadia area. Ah well, back to work. Thanks for the stories and detailed descriptions

err that last sentence should read I hope I never get over the awkwardness on people I consider cool as I consider that the utmost form of respect :). In any event I'm sure I've been that same person in the few times I've run into you Wil

You know the first time I met someone famous? It was Mrs Partridge of the Partridge Family Shirley Jones back in the late 70s when the show was still popular but off the air I was the most awkward person in the world, but ya know something? I never get over the awkwardness around people I consider cool :).

You know what's sad? I still remember the day when my big brother broke that playset ... Long story short I hate him (j/k it was a long time ago in a place far far away...)

Wil, in the few times I've met you you never seemed to have a problem answering questions or taking time to talk about things like your blog or Naked Juice even if it was just for a second in the checkstand lane. That's one of the cool things I've always respected about you. Just be yourself. Just MHO
