Always on the lookout for creative ways in which to fill up my wonderful retirement days!
Interests: Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, Grandchildren, reading Nora Roberts books, reading biographries and autobiographies about military heros (General Tommy Franks is amazing). Just finished reading "All the President's Men" and am now reading "The Final Days", both by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. After being away from my hometown, Eatonton, GA, for more than 40 years, I decided to move back home. Here, I enjoy retirement and help administer a Facebook Group for my home county and must admit that doing so is a blast. I have re-connected with so many friends from childhood and have met so many new people who love Putnam County, Georgia, just as much as I do! Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles (who I taught in high school), and Bon Jovi sang a song a few years ago, "Who Says You Can't Go Home ( Well, I KNOW FOR A FACT that you CAN go back home and LOVE IT.
