I suppose that Dennis doesn't consider making torture official US policy or launching an unprovoked war "extremist." Dennis, as most Republicans do, likes to think that 2001-09 simply never happened. Waging war on a Chinese credit card, stripping US citizens of their consititutional rights, I could go on and on. But given the extreme mess that Obama inherited after "he who cannot be named," you can't be surprised that he would find it necessary to take extreme measures to clean it up.
