Along with traffic, the action most desired by most bloggers is that of readers commenting on their blog posts. Prior to the explosion of social media and easy syndication of content to external sites, it was straight-forward...you publish a post and readers commented on your blog post...on the blog. Now, however, your posts get published on Facebook via the Notes Application (not so reliable anymore) or NetworkedBlogs or any of a number of tools that feed your content to multiple platforms. A question that has come up several times on the Blog Squad Facebook page, is: when you're commenting and...

A HWA Product Review What can you buy at Williams-Sonoma that fits in your purse, makes you smell fresh, feel clean, and only costs $3.00? Their .33 ounce Hand Sanitizing Spray with Lavender essential oil! Bonus: It's Certified Organic by the CCOF. As of today, they do not have the product listed on Williams-Sonoma.com. You will find a box of these antibacterial helpers at the register; at least that is where I've seen them in two different store locations. If you are tired of the messy tubes and bottles, as well as the long "drying" time offered by other companies, you'll be pleased with the ease of this micro-fine spray. A few spritzes is all you need; the alcohol mixed with organic lavender, along with Echinacea Purpurea extract (AKA Coneflower) leave your hands clean in a matter of seconds. The information on the label states it is, "99% effective against the most common germs." As a budding germaphobe, I was so excited with this new discovery I did some research... The product is packaged for the popular cooking store by EO Products. If you can't find it in a Williams-Sonoma store near you, you can buy this item and other hand sanitizers directly from the EO line (continental US only). No matter where you buy it, this item is sure to come in handy for...

Lately, it seems everyone I encounter is struggling with one thing or another. The trends are: life is getting in their way, they are revisiting old wounds, or change is presenting unexpected difficulties. If you are picking up on this energy in your life, these vital petals of wisdom can shine rays of sunshine on your demeanor. Pick at least one petal from this list today...it will serve as the seed for a brighter tomorrow. ☀ Don't fret about the future. It's a waste of time. ☀ Don't be afraid to make mistakes; they're only signs that you're growing a little. ☀ Be resourceful. If you can't get what you want one way, try another route. ☀ Do what you love and love what you do. Do something because you love it, not because you expect fame or fortune. ☀ When you're feeling down in the dumps, do something for someone else; it helps you forget your woes. ☀ Take responsibility; don't blame others for what happens in your life. ☀ Be the kind of person you would want to have as a friend. ☀ Love others because you want to, not because you expect anything from them. ☀ Don't let pain get you down. If something hurts, it's going to hurt whether you're in bed or climbing a mountain. ☀ Don't bear grudges. ☀...

It seems that every conversation I have these days about social media usually involves some comment about the Facebook privacy issue. That is why I am excited about this solution. I have 500 Facebook "friends". Out of these 501 I speak to and hang out with about 35 of them. So the other 465 are either school friends from when I was younger or people who see my picture think I am easy on the eyes and request me and I don't have the heart to say no.
