These days with the expansion of the art car community it is difficult to find a truly Visionary artcar artist. So many including several featured here are using the artcar as a storefront for businesses. Nothing wrong with it and these are good people and the cars are artworks but the spirit is not the same. Those of us who are visionary artists have difficulty attending events as we have no business income and the honoraria and donations are not sufficient to cover costs of attending. Those in business dont help us nor do the sponsors sufficiently. That is our tribe. We build them ourselves, drive them daily and are almost entirely self funded.
