Why didn't the officials have someone or people assigned to determine who had the ball after the fumble, just in case? Shouldn't the refs always mae a decision on fumble possession just in case? Dd they just stop paying attention when the ball came loose? How to the refs explain the video evidence that shows a Dolphin falling directly on top of the ball, and that same Dolphin, Ikaika Alama-Francis, coming out of the pile with the ball in his hand? How is that not compelling evidence of possession? Alama-Francis was interviewed after the game by Channel 4. While in the scrum, he said he heard someone say, "White ball!" Who else would say that other than a ref (not the Dolphins and certainly not the Steelers!)?
