good doc...although it was padded a bit...most likely due to the fact that bartman still refuses to be interviewed in fact, although he has been offered hundreds of thousands of dollar to do appearances and endorsements....he wont but the guy who ended up catching that ball (its crazy eye guy in the vid) made 100k selling it and wil, you are right...it wasnt bartman's fault.... if you watch the vid he was reacting to everyone around him that section never looks down to see alou (amazingly) racing to try and catch the ball it was the wind that blew it back onto the field of play the ump shouldve called an immediate out due to fan interference....bad call by ump after the game...doofus (that is what i, a giants fan, lovingly call the guy who blew a ws and an lcs) threw bartman under the bus doofus was and is known for his mismanagement of both starters and pen arms did both to the giants and cubbies... what is great in the doc, is the media excusing themselves for destroying bartman the film maker compares it to what they did to buckner in 86 poor buck....the hate shouldve gone against bob the steamer stanley...who threw a wild pitch to tie the game (man had the greatest sinker, but sometimes even he didnt know where it was going) so steamer gets a pass (and a long career as a pitching coach) and buck gets treated like crap till the sox finally win a ws life is shit

personally, i thought the number one reference was more going for the og st, where the first number one was a strong, female...which the suits couldnt handle, so they forced gene to morph her into nurse chapel gene got the number one back in tng...but still, it had to be a guy oh. and did anyone catch the offhanded line out of star wars? "lets blow these mites and go home" or something like that im digging parish...mr wheaton has great comic timing as for the cancellation of the show, i think it has been made pretty clear that, while it makes money...it doesnt make enough for comcast's liking its sad when the bottom line is not enough i really hope that all the actors get gigs on other quality shows kinda bums me out that so many from shows like the sopranos, the wire, etc...never seem to get offered other great gigs

i may be the only one who is tired of the lee cameos interesting to note...it was kirby, not lee, who got a cameo in the original hulk tv series as a police artist...guess at the time, lee thought cameos were beneath him good epi you were good, the banana slugs were good, and yes, ms day is absolutely adorable...although she seems to be channeling alison hannigan for this role

Tejano54 comic con is both the biggest and the longest running i started going when it was already big (about 30k for the weekend) but still small enough for one to truly enjoy the experience dont see how its enjoyable standing in line for 4 hours to get into a panel dont see how its enjoyable not being able to spend a few minutes with one's fav creators...getting only a few moments to say hi i attended the con for just a few things...to walk the floor and see creators i spent the year reading...to go to the kirby and golden age panels...and to check out collectable comics that i would never be able to afford best time i ever had at the con was spending a full hour chatting with neal adams about how he and o'neil got around the censors and the comic code, when they made green lantern/green arrow...and then listening as the discussion turned to quantum physics and his theory of how the world was created....cant do this anymore

Tejano54e if the times is correct, this would be a good thing for the con...in a sense sure, the extra money helped, but the con lost what made it special...and crowds were growing without the hollywood takeover but i have a feeling that once the convention center size increases, so that instead of one hall h, there are 3 or 4 megahalls and the size of the con attendance can expand to 200k...hollywood will return with a vengeance

havent gone to the con since 02 miss the days when one could just hang out and chat with creators my first con was in 89...it was like mecca have a good time will really wish they would start livestreaming panels...for those who cant, and wont go

so you wanted to see players cheating on their wives, getting drunk...driving drunk? is that it? want showtime to create controversy, where none exists? want them to direct bochy to curse, even though he never does? dont like the story of ryan vogelsong? go rewatch hard knocks...the story of a bunch of guys, who, if they werent playing footbal...would be doing hard time in san quentin

you were very funny on wits....are you going to be taking part in the big bang panel at the con?

i was totally shocked. first off, he was out and about pimping the release of all star superman...and from vids posted on youtube, he looked great. been following him since the milestone days great writer and an all around great guy. very few people in the biz who no one has a bad thing to say about people younger than me should not be dying. i kept hoping that warners would put he and timm in charge of of the projects slated for movies the batman animated series and jlu, were so far superior to any of the live action stuff.
