Thank you Amelia! Definitely super fun! Were you able to make it to this year's Parking Day?
Thank you Aimee! Thank you Heather! It's because of you guys that I even got to be on that list! You let me try out my crazy ideas on you and practice my art on you! Heather = bicycles and photobooths! Aimee=confetti and egg hunts!
I know....I was kind of aghast that they were doing that. But I don't actually know the people with the CDs. Hopefully they are okay...I think I may have been the only person not actually looking at the sun.

She was so fun to talk to! She was so calming - great for my first portrait session of the day!
Oh I would totally agree!
when I saw this in my email, I was like who does she mean? Drake? cuz I posted something about wanting to see Drake. yeah, they were playing a bunch of his songs while I was working at a coffee shop. sounds kinda like...Otis Redding....maybe....I usually can only listen to slowish music for a while, but I thought it sounded soooo pretty.
whoa, that's awesome! Phoenix is kind of a small town even though it's not. LOL.

thank you for the comment Luis. i'm fascinated with the idea of public art, both art that gets commissioned and people pay for it and art that just appears, done just because the artist HAS to make it. when i drive or walk around Phx I am always on the lookout for art and beauty and this is just magical. and I love the idea that this is piracy of a sort. making art and putting it wherever you please, but perfectly placed at a crossroads where tons of people will see it.
thank you for the comment Rachel! now you just need to go back and take more pictures! so the pirate ship has been around since last spring?
i so miss reading your blog Steph! those were good times! thank you!
