It was really fucked up when he got prosecuted, AND THEN some advertizing agencies latched onto his ideas and did the same thing, and didn't get arrested. That shit really made me mad. Seeing art get exploited by telecommunications companies who APPARENTLY didn't have to abide to the same rules that a not-for-profit artist did? Fuck.

random things that jump out at me: 1) I like how there's like a bandana phase in the first fifth but then there's no more bandanas. Fun story: my roommate has a t-shirt with a screenprinted red bandana around the neck and since he got it he has been accosted TWICE, a haitian guy started pointing at it and screaming in french and at another point a young hispanic kid (like, 8) tried to rip it off of his neck. 2) aren't R6C5 and R6C10 from the same day/time? or am i on POWER PILLS aka narcotics :( :( :( 3) in yr old age are you getting less TUFF? there's a lot less I AM TUFF pics as it progresses! 4) sup w/ loom dawg? 5) wait a sec, back to point 2, ALSO R4C8??!! 6) i want R8C7 to be a little pin that says "no but seriously don't ask me about loom ok" 7) WHEN IS R9C9 FROM seriously it looks like it should be a still from a totally dope ghost movie. I didn't finish writing that. Oops. I meant to add that those kids were probably pretty well-to-do and living in a city where other people were singing that very song in REAL retaliation. Eng-Fr relations in this city are always weird but rich white English kids complaining about persecution is... yeah, borderline offensive? It only adds to the video though :)

The last 3 minutes of part two always gives me delight-shudders. To give it some context though... there's something kinda lame about anglo kids in Westmount singing "we will overcome."

It's about a guy who hits a girl with his car and then gets haunted, in a nutshell. Don't wanna say too much about it. Yeah, all of the movies I said were horror films. I can also recommend some non-horror Thai films though, or some Korean horror too. I REALLY love Thai film (and to a lesser degree K-film too).

This just reminds me of how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE Thai ghost culture (and as an extension all of the movies based on it). This summer I saw the film 4bia, which you sohuld check out if you get the chance. Also check out those directors' previous flicks, "Shutter" and "Alone." Especially Shutter. But even more than those, possibly the BEST GHOST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN is called "The Victim" by Monthon Arayangkoon. SEE THIS IF YOU GET THE CHANCE. Especially the freaking credits... oh my god best credits sequence OF ALL TIME. SO CREEPY.

Every time I see that Minnie the moocher video it KILLS me. One of my fave videos OAT. I wish I could dance or animate or sing or play music half as well as anyone involved w/ it.
