Happy BDay, Wil. May this next year bring you Happiness, great friends, good health, and prosperity. If you come up to ECCC next year, look into having dinner at AFK Tavern in Everett. Cool gaming restaraunt / tavern.

Wil, I know this is off topic, but did you do a quick cameo in the Leonard Nimoy verson of Bruno Mars' Lazy Song? At 1:29 there is a blurred customer checking out and leaving that resembles you. Joe

Cool eggs. Next time you visit Seattle, you should seriously consider driving up to Everett and checking out AFK Tavern. Last night was Dr. Who night, and all the non gaming screens were playing episodes. AFK Tavern is a gaming restaraunt that has good food, great staff, and not only allows but encourages table-top rpg, card, and video game playing. They have a food, alcohol, and game menu. They have PS3, 360 (with Kinect), and Game Cube colsoles, that I have seen. I think they have an Atari and Wii as well. The owner decided to run a 3.5 Eberron one shot last night because I had posted "that I would be interested in gaming and wondered if any groups were meeting and allowing new players." Pretty cool in my book. Plus, it's a hang our for table-top and video game designers. Monte Cook usually comes in 3-4 times a month. Joe

Wil, I plan on donating a few dollars. I have a friend who wants you DVD. He listened to the Audio books with me. How would I go about getting him in touch with you, or, with your permission, copy the disc after getting the money to you. Joe Haight Owner of Disc #1 jhaight@rock.com

Wil, I'm listening to "Just a Geek" and liking it very much. Haven't gotten a chance to read much yet, but will start shortly. For those wondering, this DVD was worth much more than the $100 I spent on it. The man, as most of us already know is not only amazing, but humble and candid in these glimpses into his life. Thank you again for the opportunity, Wil. Joe

Wil, It was an honor again to talk to you. I was wearing my SciFi geek jacket and the lucky owner of You Uber Limited Edition DVD #1. With your permission, I would like to put you on my wishlist for ECCC with Jim Parsons. I am hoping to see a panel with Sheldon and Evil Wil Wheaton, maybe done improved... lol I had not had the chance previously to read or listen to your works, aside from this blog. Thank you for opening up to your fans. I still think you'd be loved and warmly welcomed as a USO guest ( Yes, I am the retired Navy guy who has been asking for a few years now... lol Chase Masterson thinks you'd do great as well..lol ) Please feel free to look me up if you get a free moment or two next time you are in Seattle, I'd be honored to give you my small list of sites to visit. I agree, Libraries ARE awesome. The Public Library in my home town let us gamers use the community room to play when it wasn't in use or reserved, otherwise we'd sit in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy room and play, helping those who wandered in find whatever they were searching for, and suggesting other great books. I have tried to support the local Libraries whenever possible. Any word on ECCC in Seattle this year, Wil?

I know the feeling of long times between games and finally coming home. I spent 20 years in the Navy and am glad to have done it. Even more so to be retired now. Any word on coming back to Seattle for Emerald City ComiCon? Felicia Day is already scheduled. Joe Haight

LOL Too funny. Wil, are you going to ECCC in Seattle next year? Just saw that Brent Spiner will be there too. See if you can get him on stage for Rock Band vocals. :D

True, I just think they should have been more upfront about it to begin with. also, just posted on my FB about the fake Wil. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wil-Wheaton/121507888964?ref=search&sid=baNrjnGpq-aLVL6mRfpOgg.2681966585..1#!/joe.haight2?v=wall

Since it ISN'T Wil, it may be a scam to get people's hard earned money. Those guys are worse than scum. I hope this isn't the case.

I wish I could have asked Stan a question at ECCC, but they were total jerks about it (not Stan, but the Con people). They told us only one autograph per person, even though they presold the autographs weeks before. Hope to see you next year at ECCC, still wanting to get your books autographed and buy the one's I don't have from you.... lol

Missed you at ECCC, but as usual, the lines were BAD. Noticed the hockey jersey. Overheard that was because you lost a bet to Aaron. Get ahold of Aaron Douglas about the SciFi museum exhibit opening in October. it would be cool to get you in as a guest to that event. Can't wait to see you next year. Also, Erin Grey told me that she's hoping to bring Gil Gerard next year, so Buck Rogers will be in the house too... lol

Wil, I hope you have a good run this weekend. Chase Masterson wanted me to have you get in touch with her. Remember me asking about USO tours last year? Well, we're rapping up our 6 month deployment in Afghanistan, again. Keep up the good work. Joseph Haight VAQ-133

As for Star Wars, I watched the last 3 once each for closure. I think Lucas is making a HUGE mistake by not releasing the 'Non' Special editions of the original trillogy for fans to make the decision on which they prefer. Thanks for reading my email, and as you can see from another post, you are much admired by the fans. I emailed you the info to get started. Hope to see you in Afghanistan ( Central Command ), if not then one day I may make one of your shows in Cali. Do you sign autographs after ( or before )? Joe H.

That's a sweater that makes a statement. I'd have worn it to my squadron Christmas party just to show everyone that I don't care what people think about me. Life's too short not to have fun. Joe
