There is the other side of the coin - student graduates, who suddenly want to be a programmers. Not because of the money or something, but pure passion about programming. And those graduates are not coming from tech-related areas. What is the best advice you could give them?
I have kind of the opposite "problem". I've been programming since I'm 16 ( I'm 23 now ) and I've always loved to program. That's what I do in my spare time, I order books, I LOVE to read other people code and improve mine. But due to my family roots I decided to study law... I graduate this year with almost highest scores possible, and bored as a ... no word to describe. Law just isn't for me, not interested a bit. So how do you think if you're passionate about programming and really interested, self-educated is it more important then having degree in it?
