Glen Davis has NO business on the floor at crunch time in the fourth quarter. Bury him, and then trade his fat ass in the off-season.

Long been an advocate of trying to spin Rondo and Davis to New Orleans for that fella in the Yankees hat at the game tonight. Rondo is just wildly inconsistent and petulant, and Davis is disposable. I don't know who told him he's a scorer, but the person ought to be throat-punched.

This one is solely on Doc Rivers. Absolutely inexcusable to leave that fat bastard Davis on the floor to shoot you completely out of a tie game. All that offensive talent on this team and you leave Davis out there for three bricks and his patented missed box out. Some of the worst coaching from Rivers in his seven-year tenure in Boston. Horrible. Just horrible, Doc. How many damn times did Davis shoot us out of a game in the last month? What the hell are you thinking?

Clearly, then, the league's seen the tapes and the non-action is what we'll get publicly. I haven't seen a worse performance than Malloy's by an NBA official since Bennett Salvatore's overtly pro-Piston work in game 6 of the 2008 ECF.

Which official blew the call on the non-flagrant? Was it Malloy? That's my recollection, but I'm so boiling angry at his consistent afternoon-long incompetence that I may be off-base.

I agree with Jackie ... to a point. As a coach, though, I have a different perspective. One of my greatest fears every night when the ball goes up is that the officials get in my kids' heads. CLEARLY, Spolestra's three brothers were firmly in the C's heads by the time the fourth quarter rolled around. Always, always emphasized to my kids that the officials are mine. If there's a problem, I'll take care of it. So I'm disappointed, frankly, that if Doc saw the situation, he didn't get up and unload on Malloy - who was watching two different games all afternoon long; the Wade runover of Davis that turned into an and-one is just one example. Doc, baby, take the officials on to keep them out of your guys' heads. You MUST avoid a repeat of your placid demeanor Sunday while your players are boiling. Auerbach would have been ejected.

Rondo's best game in a half a season. Dominant in three phases of the game. Pierce and Allen were terrific, as was Jermaine. Green looked good off the bench. This was the first time in a LONG time the Celtics have looked like themselves.

I think he's gone, to tell you the truth, unless there's a lockout that buys him some time.

Davis has been atrocious for the last six weeks. He's playing himself off this roster.
