The problem is that KG did it to the guy Celtic Fan has a perpetual hard-on for, Big Al No D.
Watch KG punk Al Jefferson, repeatedly
The only thing better than watching KG punk Al Jefferson is listening to the whiny Jazz announcers. I don't understand the "fake toughness" label. Garnett is right in Jefferson's grill. And what's fake about that shoulder-to-the-jaw on the free throw line? It was an in-your-face dirty play. FYI...
As is usually the case with your ramblings, you are confused. One who disagrees with you is a hater, eh?
I'm always amused by those who can't offer up anything intellectual in rebuttal, just name calling.
Please continue. You amuse me.
Schwan: Danny only has one option at the trade deadline
Danny Ainge has one option as the trade deadline is only three days away. He must hold onto the Big 4, and it’s not because these guys will lead the Celtics to an NBA championship. Ainge has made several mistakes that leave him no choice but to finish out the season with the Big 3 plus Rondo. Si...
The fact he's exactly right must bother you, huh? Schwan nailed the vast majority of this article, and he's right about Rondo. Not a SOUL around the league worships Rondo like the green-shaded Rondo knob-slobberers who think an occasional triple-double cancels out all the bricks and the ball-stopping pounding of the rock at the top of the key.
If they did, it wouldn't be so damn hard to unload him, would it? Despite all the idiotic "fair value" arguments like the one below. Get it through your heads: The league doesn't think Rondo's that good.
In defense of the management, though, the Rondo worship here pales in comparison to the Rondo fellatio on Celticsblog.
I don't agree that all is lost unloading Albatross #9. But after Thursday, it might be.

They're starting low. Let's see where they are on Thursday.
Report: Celtics & Lakers talked Rondo trade last week
Mike Bresnahan of the LA Times has the story: The teams talked last week about a trade for Celtics guard Rajon Rondo, though nothing was close to accomplished and discussions dried up. The Lakers are unwilling to trade Pau Gasol for Rondo, making a deal with Boston unlikely before the trade d...
What?
The Thunder don't like Wilt Perkins?
The devil you say.
Sadly, that deal was the rarest of swaps - one that helped neither team.
Your Morning Dump... Are the Celtics waiting to flip the switch?
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. “They’ll be all right,” said Perkins. “I don’t think they’re caring about where they place in the seeding. I think they’ll get ...
I'm really glad that one of the most selfish Celtics I can remember feels better now that he's been added to the All-Star Game.
Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for him to figure out that it's a team game, and petulantly throwing a basketball at an official hurts your team.
REALLY disappointed in the Celtics for not sending him home. Period.
Your Morning Dump... Where that was a team building loss
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. “Every once in a while you lose a game and you have a team-building game. Tonight was a team-building game for us,’’ coach Do...
Indeed. It's beyond comical to watch the paeans to Rondo roll out while this team loses and loses and loses.
Get it through your heads: Rondo isn't a desirable commodity in this league, because as Danno said, he's a selfish, stubborn diva that other teams JUST DON'T WANT TO SCREW WITH.
It's embarrassing watching all this Rondo knob-slobbering going on out there in Internet land, especially Celtics Blog. Stop it. It's hard on your credibility.
Rondo's not a top-5 PG and he won't be until he grows the hell up and stops letting off-the-court shit impact his game.
Your Morning Dump... Where the "blow-it-up" talk is back
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. The Celtics piss-poor play has made the natives restless, yet again. Blow-it-up-now remains the mantra of the frustrated. Chan...
Well, yeah.
Despite the urban legend that has turned Perkins into the second coming of Wilt Chamberlain, four years at $36 large is an absurd price for the return the Thunder got last year - and will get in the future from his offensively-challenged self.
Trading Perk was a financial decision
By now the Kendrick Perkins trade has become more legendary than when Ed Macualey was traded for Bill Russell and when Red Auerbach traded their draft pick to Golden State for Robert Parish and Kevin McHale combined. The attention it has received is beyond absurd. So naturally, we'll give it one...
You walk away from a huddle in a playoff game that's there for the taking, you're done as far as I'm concerned.
Get on the phone this summer, Ainge. I'm through.
Your Morning Dump... The hustle stats are hideous
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. In Tuesday's outing, the Heat took 36 free throws to the Celtics' 22. The Heinsohnian theory -- blame the refs! -- won't hold...
Enough with the Rondo fanboy bullshit.
The original article is correct: You want to walk away from a huddle in the playoffs, then fine. We'll trade your ass.
What is it? Six years of waiting for this petulant little child to actually do what he's supposed to do consistently? And now, because he finally pulled his head out of his ass late in the game - when the damn game was lost, in no small part due to his ball-stopping pounding of the rock - we're supposed to buy the nonsense that he is one of the few with "the right attitude."
Sorry. That's nonsense.
There are a LOT of reasons why we've been rolled twice in Miami. Certainly Rondo's not the only person at fault.
But stop with the idiotic excuses. When Rondo doesn't attack EVERY possession, this offense stagnates. And he spent three plus quarters last night doing nothing but stopping the basketball.
Rivers make a shitload of mistakes last night; sitting Rondo's ass down in the fourth quarter was NOT one of them.

What the hell are you talking about? When Rondo isn't attacking, he's worthless running the offense. And he didn't attack tonight - not nearly enough. Just settled for fiddling and diddling, as Johnny Most liked to put it, and when Rondo does that, he's ordinary.
If you were paying attention to the game, you saw clearly that Pierce and Garnett were not happy with his play during timeouts.
When in hell is he going to figure that out? Will he hit 30 first?
I'm done with him. Shop him in the off-season. Call New Orleans.
Just do what you do
I'm going to echo Doc Rivers right now: “It would be nice to run our game plan, then at least we’d know whether what we’re doing is right or wrong,” he said. “You got to run them off threes. You can’t turn the ball over and then we just have to move the ball offensively. Those would be the thr...
WADR, you've got to be kidding me. A couple of layups changes nothing about Rondo's game. He's not creating squat running the offense, and he's not stopping anyone.
This game was there to be won, and Doc Rivers pissed it away by watching idly while a player with no lift and no ability to finish shot the game away. Glen Davis has NO business on the floor at crunch time in the fourth quarter. Bury him, and then trade his fat ass in the off-season.
Just do what you do

Long been an advocate of trying to spin Rondo and Davis to New Orleans for that fella in the Yankees hat at the game tonight. Rondo is just wildly inconsistent and petulant, and Davis is disposable. I don't know who told him he's a scorer, but the person ought to be throat-punched.

Disgraceful loss, Rivers. Tie game, 7 to play. Get your best damn five on the floor. Davis is NOT part of your best 5. You lost this game, Rivers.

Absolutely no excuse whatsoever for Davis on the floor in crunch time. He's a damn black hole who can't elevate or finish. Rondo is just garbage.
The off-season is coming. Soon.

This one is solely on Doc Rivers. Absolutely inexcusable to leave that fat bastard Davis on the floor to shoot you completely out of a tie game. All that offensive talent on this team and you leave Davis out there for three bricks and his patented missed box out. Some of the worst coaching from Rivers in his seven-year tenure in Boston. Horrible. Just horrible, Doc. How many damn times did Davis shoot us out of a game in the last month? What the hell are you thinking?

The words "butcher" and "Ed Malloy" fit together nicely.
League says refs butchered two flagrant calls
Via Sun Sentinel: The NBA has reclassified two fouls from Sunday's contentious second-round playoff series opener between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. James Jones' technical foul with 7:59 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Heat's 99-90 victory at AmericanAirlines Arena was rescinded...
Clearly, then, the league's seen the tapes and the non-action is what we'll get publicly.
I haven't seen a worse performance than Malloy's by an NBA official since Bennett Salvatore's overtly pro-Piston work in game 6 of the 2008 ECF.
Pierce: "I was more upset about letting my teammates down. I'm too important to this team."
Paul Pierce spoke to reporters prior to practice today. The tweet below is the quote from the official Celtics Twitter feed: Ken Berger of CBSSports.com posted the following update as well: Finally, A. Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE posted the following quotes from Pierce: Stay tuned for...
Which official blew the call on the non-flagrant? Was it Malloy? That's my recollection, but I'm so boiling angry at his consistent afternoon-long incompetence that I may be off-base.

I agree with Jackie ... to a point. As a coach, though, I have a different perspective.
One of my greatest fears every night when the ball goes up is that the officials get in my kids' heads. CLEARLY, Spolestra's three brothers were firmly in the C's heads by the time the fourth quarter rolled around.
Always, always emphasized to my kids that the officials are mine. If there's a problem, I'll take care of it.
So I'm disappointed, frankly, that if Doc saw the situation, he didn't get up and unload on Malloy - who was watching two different games all afternoon long; the Wade runover of Davis that turned into an and-one is just one example.
Doc, baby, take the officials on to keep them out of your guys' heads. You MUST avoid a repeat of your placid demeanor Sunday while your players are boiling. Auerbach would have been ejected.
Your Morning Dump... Pierce should have known better
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. It was an appalling development for the team captain and supposed leader, who, instead of helping Boston scratch back from a...
Terrible first half. Poor help-side defense most of the game. Little or no offensive patience.
Let's play a game: Guess the officiating crew for game 2. I'm going with Violet Palmer, Gloria James and Alonzo Mourning.
Ed Malloy and Danny Crawford were pretty good for the Heat today, too. Malloy is a clown.
Recap: James freakin Jones destroys the Celtics
Dwyane Wade (38 points, 14-21 FG) played a superb basketball game, but James Jones was the difference in the Heat's 99-90 victory in Game 1. The sharp-shooting bench player nailed 5 threes and scored 23 of his 25 points in the 1st half. He was the reason Miami took a 15 lead into halftime. Jon...
A more salient question is "Is JO more than Perkins?" The answer is a clear yes.
3 points, 6 boards, 3 fouls for the Greatest Center Evah in 27 minutes last night as the Thunder pissed away a sweep.
I'll take JO all day over the kind of steaming turd that The $9 Million Man is putting up in the playoffs.
Is Jermaine O'Neal enough?
Jermaine O'Neal was pretty good against New York (as we detailed, by the numbers). And as we wait to see if Shaquille O'Neal will even play, the question asked in this video is... will he be enough moving forward? My answer, simply, is yes... if he does what he did against New York. New York ...
Rondo's best game in a half a season. Dominant in three phases of the game.
Pierce and Allen were terrific, as was Jermaine. Green looked good off the bench.
This was the first time in a LONG time the Celtics have looked like themselves.
Recap: Celtics rip hearts out of Knicks, NYC
Ahh... Is there any better feeling than shutting up New Yorkers? The answer is no. Behind superhuman efforts by Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo the Celtics throttled the Knicks 113-96. And the game wasn't even that close. Pierce was lethal. He had 38 points on 14-19 FG. That's 74%. Ra...
I think he's gone, to tell you the truth, unless there's a lockout that buys him some time.
Will Doc come back?
It's one of the big questions hanging over the Celtics this postseason. Will Doc Rivers come back next year... or will he take some time off to be with his family? It's a question debated by Michael Holley, Cedric Maxwell and SI's Ian Thomsen. It'll be hard for Doc to walk away, and the goo...
Davis has been atrocious for the last six weeks. He's playing himself off this roster.
Your Morning Dump... Doc practically sleeps with his playsheet
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Rivers never stops drawing up plays, whether he’s on flights, watching his sons’ games, or even in the middle of the night. “Th...
