I hope Bradley can start producing on the offensive end because he is something special on defense. He's a bit hesitant heading to the basket and when he shoots it seems like he's aiming instead of shooting if that makes sense.
Your Morning Dump... Doc likes Bass as a closer
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. But during crunch time, coach Doc Rivers went to Bass, and he likely would have done the same if O’Neal (who is probable for...
Piatrus would be a perfect fit here. He would easily fill the Jeff Green void off the bench if he's healthy. Remember how well he played in the Orlando series verses Boston back in 09? Let's hope this happens.
Your Morning Dump... Where Mickael Pietrus is leaning towards Boston
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Mickael Pietrus, recently released by the Phoenix Suns, is leaning "heavily" towards signing with the Boston Celtics, accord...
That's not that terrible of an idea renting him for a season. I was all for blowing it up after losing to Miami last year so why not roll the dice?
A trade scenario that lands Chris Paul in Boston
ESPN's John Hollinger offers up a bunch of possible trade scenarios (not rumors) involving Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. Here's one scenario involving CP3 and the Celtics (Insider): Chris Paul and Trevor Ariza to Boston; Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley and Emeka Okafor to Indiana; Brandon Rush, Darre...
This is beyond ridiculous that they can't split the difference on that $80M. Think about it, each side "loses" $40M. BIG DEAL. Antoine Walker gambled more than that away. NBA owners throw more than that away on bad deals all the time. Are we REALLY going to miss a season over $80M??? Give me a break.
Your Morning Dump... Where KG is in the thick of things
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. There were no fireworks, no tantrums and no tirades. There was all the resignation and disappointment of doomsday, but none ...
Interesting that he's willing to miss a year yet he's charging season ticket holders to pay for next season RIGHT NOW. How about you figure out this lockout first before you get any more money from me Wyc?
Your Morning Dump... Wyc is willing to lose the season
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Privately, the agents will keep pushing for union decertification. They’ll push for the courts, for chaos, and pray the threa...
I played Pierce in poker at Ricky Davis' place (long story). He's pretty good; though it's easy to be good when you're in a $50 tournament as a millionare.
Paul Pierce tries his hand at the World Series of Poker
Ah, see Herald headline guys? I can make puns in headlines too. The Truth took a shot at the WSOP this past weekend. And he actually compares playing poker to playing ball. “I think poker has really helped me develop patience and that helps me in everything I do in life,” Pierce told Poke...
Great post. Awesome job on finding the clips.
The Celtics: A terrible offensive rebounding team by design
Stat geeks, cover your eyes... you're not going to like what you're about to see. Actually... scratch that. Open your eyes. Focus your attention on this post. Because it is the proof that the numbers lie... or at least don't tell the whole story. Sometimes, you need to look beyond the number...
Where was this in Game 1 of the Bulls/Pacers series? Boozer checked Tyler Hansborough in the back on his breakaway in the 4th quarter (putting Indy up 10 with 2 minutes to go).
Rajon Rondo's Foul on Landry Fields from Game 3 Upgraded to Flagrant 1
Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe has reported that Rajon Rondo's fourth quarter foul in transition on Landry Fields has been up graded to a Flagrant 1. Washburn's tweet details how the flagrant points accumulate in the playoffs: Wondering what play it was exactly? Check out the video below...
Krstic has to realize where he is on the depth chart sorry. It could be worse Nad; you could be Von Wafer. I don't expect him to play at all if/when Shaq gets back.
Your Morning Dump... More ignorant analysis of the Celtics
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Despite an opening sweep, Boston is still vulnerable With the only sweep of the first round, Boston made a statement against Ne...
Guaranted we're making room for buyouts. It's the only explanation. The Celtics don't trade players for 2nd round picks just for the fun of it, especially when we're already thin at center.
These trades might not be the worst thing in the world.
C's trade Erden/Harangody for 2nd round pick?
Twitter / Adrian Wojnarowski: Boston has traded Semih Er ... via kwout I am absolutely, completely, thoroughly confused. We have now traded two of our four centers. The other two are hurt. In return we've got Jeff Green, Nenad Krstc and a second round pick. The C's now have two open...
