Thanks Lindi! We went on a sunny +3 degree day which helped! Inside her snowsuit she's in a fleece onesie as well, so she felt toasty all day :)

Emery was so excited to make her first of many, many years of Valentines Day cards! She was also a bit surprised by the sensation of cool paint on her teeny, tiny feet as we stamped them one at a time to make cute heart shapes. ^^Aren't they sweet?! ^^... Continue reading

Nothing says "I love you" like hot coffee, bacon and a tower of pancakes. When my husband and daughter woke up yesterday morning, I had this waiting for them. As they came groggily towards the kitchen, I heard him say to her "that's what love smells like, Emery". Seriously, what... Continue reading

THANK YOU for commenting Leigh, I'm encouraged to know I'm not alone at night :) I don't know why but I'm struggling more with her night waking now than I did when she was a newborn. Maybe because I've already watched all my favourite shows on netflix during those first six weeks haha. Hang in there mama!

I've been wanting to learn to sew for years. It's a necessary skill for a crafter and I love how practical home-sewn gifts are. But gosh did sewing machines intimidate me! Still do, but now that I can thread the machine and the bobbin with my eyes closed (not really)... Continue reading
