We were designed for community. One of my favourite things about bible study is of course the communal eating! We have been meeting up with a group of a few families weekly for over a year now and over the course of that time have shared some delicious food together.... Continue reading

I saved this post unpublished as a pick-me-up for the dead of Winter when I've forgotten what color of green grass is, and I think mid-way through January that point has been reached. It's actually been a surprisingly warm Winter thus far allowing for lots of outdoor adventuring, but it's... Continue reading

It really does! For the parents, and the kiddos!
Ah sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you! And thanks for encouraging my "bathroom balling self" haha every mama needs a good breakdown now and again, am I right?! Our team did OK, not amazing haha but Canada is a big country so the national race had some pretty steep competition! Girls race 5km (guys race 8km, reason #12497102497012974 why I LOVE being a girl!) and the distance is always the same but the course varies. That's the fun thing about cross country, the terrain is always different!

My first project with the new huge knitting needles my husband made me for Christmas! They are so fun to work with, this project knit up so quick. I used one of the largest size yarn at the craft store (size: huge, that's actually what it says on the package... Continue reading
