Hi Frances, I want to help you, but I'm sorry, I don't think I understand the question. The dies I used for this project are wafer thin dies - the ones that are linked in the shop. Ellen Hutson does not offer any other coordinating dies for the monkey stamp set. The die and stamp set can be found here: https://www.ellenhutson.com/Search.html#/Search.html?search=sock+monkey+surprise Is your question is about why you might want the dies instead of the stamps? Personally, if I could only purchase one of these items, I would opt to purchase the stamp set. If you don't have the dies, you can always take the time to fussy cut around the stamped image with your scissors if you'd like to have the design cut out. I typically enjoy having the matching stamp/die sets as I am not a huge fan of fussy cutting...but that's just me ;) Please let me know if I didn't answer your question - or if you have a follow up. Thanks for your patience with me :)
You're welcome Teresa. Thank you for reading and lovin' that cute little monkey stamp!
You're welcome Shirley - they are such a fun medium to use and I enjoyed sharing them today. Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment :)

I'm an unapologetic lover of pastels, so pink is used a lot in my projects for sure!
Thank you Deb, what a sweet thing to say :)
Hi Susan. I am a patterned paper lover, but recognize that sometimes the amount of choices can make choosing a design overwhelming. I think that picking a piece and just going for it is a great idea! Thanks for you your comment and encouragement.
You're welcome. Thank you for your visit Liz.
You're welcome Johnice. Thank you for your visit and enjoy giving that chalkboard look a try!
Hi Jeanne, thank you so much for your kind comment. The stitching was done with my sewing machine - Any sewing machine will work, you just want to be sure to use a denim (sturdy) needle and change it out before going back to fabric as paper dulls a needle quickly. You don't need an expensive machine - in fact mine is from the local thrift shop. The scallops were cut using the Stampin' Up! scallop border die. I believe that it is discontinued now, but I looked and it is currently available on ebay at several different price points.

Hi Monika, thanks so much for saying such kind things about my projects. I can imagine that it is frustrating to see things you love and not be able to source them locally. Good luck with the giveaway and I hope you enjoyed the blog hop.
It was my pleasure to be a part of the hop and I'm delighted that you discovered me through it. Thanks so much for your visit and comment!
