Now that might be a good thing!
Another one for the list. I will write it down.
Yes I am getting to applique but not the type I wanted to do. I have spent a couple of days getting the applique ready for the January Children's Classes. That has meant tracing, cutting out and mounting part of... Continue reading

Or maybe I don't. I would spend too much money buying the products. This is a traditional Art Supply store with a difference called Pigment and yes I have found their on-line shop already. These displays just make you say... Continue reading

Thank you, I am really pleased with the finished piece.

I have a couple of quilts in progress for them made from Beatrix Potter designed fabrics.

I have completed the cross stitch part of this piece, just the back stitching details to go, "You Beaut". I never thought I would get to this point. This is a picture of Hill Top Farm in Cumbria. I bought... Continue reading

Yes, I think that is what I will do.

I am starting to design a new piece in Kogin and got to thinking about how peaceful and content this form of stitching makes me feel. It is repetitive and requires a level of concentration that doesn't allow you to... Continue reading

My Great Aunt brought me back this table runner for me to embroidery when I was a young girl and I have had it in my 'to do' draw since then. She bought it when she went on a cruise... Continue reading

They are not common in Queensland but our weather is just a bit cooler here being on an island. I can also grow bulbs and have ordered 200 for next year. You have to get in early. This year I tried to order them in March and they were all sold out.

My agapanthus have just come into bloom. I lost a couple to the goat but have saved most of them. I planted them at the beginning of the year and finally here they come. It has been a week about... Continue reading

My neighbour Haley has a small menagerie of animals. She also has several houses she rents out and the animals are an attraction for the kids. One of these animals is Oreo the goat. She is very dumb, badly groomed... Continue reading

Thanks, glad to know I’m not the only one who has a’a draw’.. I think it will all depend on if I can find the right frame.

Sometimes less is more.
This is now just about finished and I agree it is going on the wall.

Thanks. I also think it is a good little one for quick gifts and sale tables.
Surprise, surprise. I can actually see the end of this one, it is still far in the distance but I can see it! The Fusion piece now needs me to put it into a frame and stitch all the centre... Continue reading

This will make a great “social stitching” project. I can just pick it up and take it to Guild meetings. My other work has to be thought about and I end up unpicking most of the work after I have been chatting.
Toggle Commented Nov 16, 2015 on Getting Ready at caro-rose-creations
I really needed a dedicated needlebook for my applique. So I used a couple of pieces of linen I had for the body. This is a tightly woven fabric and not what I would usually use but it matched the... Continue reading

I can see the end in sight for that cross stitch and although I will not allow myself to start a new project until it is finished, I can still get ready for that new project. I am going to... Continue reading
