I hope youre being slightly sarcastic - at the very least you made me laugh. ;-) Yes, the handspun is pretty, I just cant believe I spent that long deluding myself into thinking it was working. I like my new idea - very open, stockinette, tunic-thing, to wear over long sleeves and such in the winter. I wont enjoy that yarn against my skin, so a shawl is now out. I have a bit over 600 yards, so Ill be okay with sleeveless if thats what I get. Top down, for sure, to make the best use of the yardage Ive got. In the meantime, Im soothing my remorse by knitting a 6ply (Jade Sapphire) cashmere hat. For my sister, in theory anyway. Im more than halfway done after a couple of false starts. Bad blogger these days, I didnt take any pictures before the two rippings occurred. C.
