I am currently reading Just a Geek, I made it all the way to page 24 before I realized that your sons are named Nolan and Ryan. I'm no baseball fan, but that one I got.

I feel that way about books. I never tire of rediscovering a foreign land, a forgotten love or a beloved character. I asked for your book Just a Geek for Christmas. If I get it is there a way to get it signed? That would make my christmas. SASE perhaps?

What a great story. Living in the San Fernando Valley, I have gone to the ocean at Topanga or Zuma many a time and stood at the waters edge taunting the fury of the vast Pacific. I've screamed obscenities and dared it to come and get me. I've always won the battles, but I am afraid that one day I may not win the war. Tonight I will probably dream of the ocean, will you be there too?

I enjoy being furiously happy, but am also way too broke to enjoy being furiously happy at conventions. They would have to be here in Los Angeles, I might have to drag my husband who may or may not be kicking and screaming, and I would have to find the money for tickets. Sad. :(
