Don't forget that today is your last chance to get hold of this year's Sale-a-Bration special products with each £45 you spend. If you are even just thinking about considering joining up as a demonstrator, I'd say go for it! I joined during Sale-a-Bration 5 years ago and I've never... Continue reading

I've been playing with my Bow Builder punch this week. I think I've managed to get more of them stuck to my fingers than to anything else. My husband has started hiding from me as I keep asking him to hold the bits while the glue sets... time to order... Continue reading

I have a confession to make.... my craft room is a mess! I don't think I should even call it a craft room as it's just become our dumping ground for anything that doesn't have a home. Anyway, the result of this is that I only have my most recent... Continue reading

The Lotus Blossom set was the first one we got to play with at the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration tour event before Christmas. We all knew it was going to be popular. I think that's why I've left it so long to get my set good and inky! I've paired it... Continue reading

As soon as I saw the Best Day Ever Sale-a-Bration set in this year's offering from Stampin' Up! I knew it needed to be paired with the Scallop Tag Topper punch. And that wasn't just because of the sample on p3 of the SAB brochure - that uses the Angled... Continue reading

I needed a hostess gift that was suitable for the dreary days of January. Chocolate being definitely off the cards, I hoped that some scented candles would be better received. They also fitted a square box much more easily than my usual matchbox pattern, so a new pattern was called... Continue reading
It was one of those "now how on earth do I stick this down" moments, rather than planned!
I think I've messed up the colours a bit in my photo... it's actually Wisteria Wonder, with Coastal Cabana for the flowers and background bit!

Thank you, Lisa :) They are tiny hearts rather than spots. Catherine x

I always mean to try out a punched double gatefold card like this one using Scentsational Season (from way back in 2012) whenever there is a symmetrical-enough motif. Festival of trees gave me a more than suitable punch and stamp combo to try my hand at this simple style of... Continue reading

This is another of my (hopefully) Wow! cards from my recent class. I really loved the scenes that so many of my fellow demonstrators were able to create with the photopolymer White Christmas set that I had to give it a go. Although the photopolymer made it easy to line... Continue reading

We're so used to waiting for Sale-a-Bration for the best deals from Stampin' Up! but this year they have also given us some amazing year end closeout deals. These offers are strictly while stocks last, so have a look at my online shop now and you could pick up some... Continue reading
Hi Andrea! The instructions for the box itself are in this blog post: http://www.ideasinkorporated.com/2014/11/fun-with-the-stampin-up-gift-box-punch-board.html Thank you for visiting my blog x

I held a card class for a new group of ladies on Friday night. I promised them some wow Christmas cards, and I hope I didn't disappoint them! I'd like to say that this was all my idea, but I think it's a combination of lots of cards that I... Continue reading

Now while the box I made was very pretty on the outside, it of course needed something suitable to go inside. I decided to make a hot chocolate gift set, and I used the envelope punchboard to create some pockets to put the hot chocolate sachets in. The pockets were... Continue reading

The envelope punch board turned out to be such a useful piece of equipment, that I wasn't quite sure whether I needed the gift box punch board when Stampin' Up! put it in the Autumn Winter catalogue. How wrong was I? This beautiful box is similar to the demonstration I... Continue reading

This is the make and take I designed for Sharon. She'd warned me that it was a group of experienced crafters so I didn't want to make something too simple. The matching punch makes this stamp set completely irresistable, and I can easily see this being one of my main... Continue reading

I ran a party for the lovely Sharon in Watford at the end of October and I wanted to give all the ladies attending a little gift to say thank you. I came up with a very simple and very quick version of a treat holder using the scallop tag... Continue reading
Hello! I'm so sorry I haven't replied - the day job keeps taking over and whenever I do get time to log in to my blog typepad seems to lock me out :( The card is 4"x4" overall, and is made up of two 8"x4" pieces that are both scored at 2" (mountain fold) and 4" (valley fold). The 4x4 panels from those two pieces are stuck together. I put a 4x4 panel on one of the 2x4 flaps to be the front of the card and then put mats and layers on the other pieces. Hope that makes sense. I really wanted to do a video but time got away from me and my perfectionist tendencies wouldn't let me share something that wasn't good :) Thank you so much for your lovely comments! Catherine x
