I've mentioned before that I absolutely love my Mach 3 pens - these ones here. Oh they are not for everything since they run when you add water - but sometimes - you want them to run when you add water!! I mention these because I continue to use these to do my drawings in my sketchbook. I started using my blue Mach 3 and I know it's actually a little hard to see here because of the blue but I wanted to show you these anyways. Not sure why the background came out pink - this happened after I... Continue reading

I've taken a couple of classes lately where they talk about mark making a lot. It's not something that I really think about too much and at the time I did not understand the value of this mark making. But because you never know, one night while I was doodling in my journal, I said let me just start making random marks. And here is what came up: and from there I said hmmm - I like some of these shapes. How can I use them. So I came up with this first And then I loved the idea of... Continue reading

Started a new journal and I have been taping myself working on these. As soon as I find a video editing program that works with WIndows 10 I'll post the videos - any suggestions anyone? These pages are just the start - they are works in progress but I like to show you the progress as I move along. I'll also show you what inspired the pictures in the next post on this journal. I tend to either be inspired by wanting to try a new technique, a new tool, or I just randomly start lol. I edged a lot... Continue reading

A few weeks ago I posted my handmade, tea stained page journals in my etsy shop. I don't think they were there more than a couple of hours before one of them was snatched up! These are beauties and I am very proud of them and I love when they are purchased by customers/friends who appreciate every little detail. It matters to me where my journals, prints, collages etc. end up - it really does. So when Gayle Sternheim (a long time friend and customer - in fact since 2010) sent me pictures of the pages she had worked on... Continue reading
