Yes. That. Complete agreeance, and it makes me sad. I need to focus my attention on something cool like your homebrewing hobby to keep me from being completely depressed by what is happening to our country.

I love following Anne on twitter and I think her nerdiness is increasing more and more. But seriously--she's not hooked on David Tennant as The Doctor? Really? Keep working on her . . .

Same question from me about MOTF Vol 2, and wow, if I were going on that cruise I would totally love the Wil Wheaton Anti-Formal Not Formal Unformal for Formally Being Not Formal. It's just too much fun to type and say. Christine

Now I am totally pumped to make beer. My husband made it once, years ago, and still has all sorts of equipment. I told him to dig out the stuff again, and he asked, "Well, why are you NOW interested in making beer when you never were before??" Um, well, it's because F'ing WIL WHEATON makes beer now, and he blogs about it! Can't wait to hear the name for your IPA! Christine

Happiest of birthdays Wil! Today is my son's 9th birthday. Every year I post a message similar to yours "Happy birthday to Wil Wheaton, Geddy Lee, NASA (added last year after you reminded me) and my son Ethan". This year you beat me to it. Have a wonderful day!

And I can't stop laughing at this post! I am sorry you have allergies, but your suffering made me laugh out loud, so that's a good thing. I laugh because I sooooo know the stench of nuclear cat poop, and it doesn't matter what you feed them. My son (who happens to share your birthday coming up in a few weeks) suffers from pollen allergies, so we listen to him sniffle and snort all night. Hope you and my son feel better soon.

This recipe sounds delicious, and the bonus wilw commentary makes it extra fun! Chipolte and lime are now on my grocery list. Thanks!

As I sit here, plugged in, dog staring at me to walk him, kids coming home soon to see me staring at the computer, I realize "My goodness--Wheaton is right again!". I'm logging off now, thank you. Christine

Like Bridget above, I had never watched or barely heard of BBT before you tweeted / blogged about it. I found you on twitter because of my Trekkiness, then read your blog, and now thanks to you I am rejoicing with my inner geek once again. You have introduced me to BBT, The Guild, Paul & Storm, John Scalzi and Neil Gaiman, and I could go on and on (I even downloaded and re-enjoyed Depeche Mode because of you). So glad things are busy for you, and I guess next I will have to get hooked on Eureka! Christine

Hooray for stupid videos! I subscribed and can't wait for more. While I'm waiting, I'll play the hell out of Plants vs. Zombies, because I'm addicted, thanks to you and / or Felicia Day. So glad to see you getting a lot of work! Christine

Thanks for the post Wil--I was trying to figure out what was going on and I appreciate you explaining it, even though you shouldn't have to. For what it is worth, I've followed you long enough and read your books to know that you are most certainly not a dick, so even though I couldn't tell what was going on, I just thought "Wow, Wil seems really upset about something". One reason why I don't tweet much and rarely text is the lack of context. So, whenever I read anything, I tell myself not to read too much into it, because without emoticons you really have no idea what the tone is supposed to be. :)

The best thing about Guitar Hero is that my kids recognize and actually enjoy music from my era (80's)! Although, I was a little concerned when they went crazy over Eye of the Tiger, but I shouldn't complain. I really want to get Beatles Rock Band--maybe by Christmas, I can say it's a gift for my kids.

Love the graph and the Venn diagram! You guys are too funny. Very relieved it was a hoax--my hope is to someday get to a Wootstock, complete with Wil Wheaton, if you guys get over to the eastern part of the US.

Very nice--hummingbirds are awesome and I can't wait to find out what you did with your UPK story. Have a great birthday tomorrow--it's my son's eighth birthday as well, and perhaps we will celebrate by watching some ST:TNG.

Great interview! When you and Felicia were trying to remember the hat book I was driving my car yelling "Caps! Caps for sale! Fifty cents a cap!" Anyway, thanks for turning me on to The Guild, and I can't wait for season four! Christine

Wil, I'm a long time fan but I've only just discovered your blog within the past year. Your writing and podcasts are so good--either very touching or making me laugh out loud at your quirky sense of humor. As another child of the late 70's / 80's I appreciate all of those stories, and you've made me appreciate the geek that I am. I've recently finished reading JAG and am loving the story arc where now you can look back at that time and think about it in a positive way. Thank you for all that you do. I just wish I lived closer to a Wootstock--you guys should travel up to Rochester NY--there are plenty of geeks up here! Christine
