Wow there sure are a lot of suggestions. Some good, some not so much. If you're down here in the West End there's a cool little retro candy shop you might enjoy. Fun-O-Rama on Denman & Nelson. I, personally, have never seen so much Pez in one place. Also foodwise, I'd recommend the Banana Leaf on Denman St. or Broadway. Malaysian. yum. http://bananaleaf-vancouver.com/ Or if you're feeling more adventurous, the Afghan Horseman http://www.afghanhorsemen.com/ by the entrance to Granville Island. Or you could just play some poker at the River Rock :-)

(For those of you who are keeping score at home and need closure, I'm now over West Liberty, Iowa.) lol. You read my mind.

Hey, Wil. Long time no see. Looking forward to that full write-up on your BBT experience. I'd be curious to know if/how your preparation changes when playing a comedic role like on BBT vs a dramatic role like on Criminal Minds. Do you focus on different things (like more on rhythm, pace etc), do you work on the backstory as much etc.. Can you take us through your typical prep routine for a role? Thank ya.

I have been waiting for SO long for you to rerun the Izzie soda story! Every time a from the vault piece comes up I wonder if it'll be this one. Finally, the day has arrived. Love it.

Small enough to read on a coffee break? That's crazy talk. I spent all morning yesterday reading all 5 D&D posts (and comments!), which apparently I missed the first time around. I've only kinda, sorta played once in my life when I was a kid with someone who admittedly had no idea what they were doing, but after reading those posts I'm thinking I might like to find some folks who know how to play and give it a try. And who doesn't have time for that? Damn you, Wheaton!

I rewatched Evolution that same night. One of my favorite eps. Been watching a lot of Trek reruns these days. It's like comfort food. Oh, and for the record, I always thought the Helmet Hair and grey spacesuit were cool. Plus, if there was no grey spacesuit then there'd be no amazing moment when Wesley strolls out on to the bridge, beaming, finally in an actual starfleet uniform. We got to see Wesley earn that uniform. I find that very cool as we never got to see how the other characters earned theirs.

Holy crap. I saw it twice in the theater and had no idea. +1 Wil. Once I buy my DVD I'll find the Wheaton.

I've never said, "Oh my God" so many times while reading one blog post. Good on ya, Wheaton. Have a rockin' time at Watchmen. We'll all try not to be too jealous.

Dude, that clip was hawesome. I swear I was so engrossed that I watched the whole thing, got to the end and then went, "Wait, that was Wil?" Then I watched it again. Love that last line. Hilarious. btw, I'm not a big Batman follower so really it's a bigger compliment than it seems. Nice work, Wheaton.

"does anyone else kind of miss that?" Um, yeah. Took ya long enough already. Actually I was on a 4 month hiatus from poker and just started playing again last week so the timing couldn't be better. "Would you play if I started them up again?" Do I even have to answer that? Do it, Wheaton. Just do it. ;-)

"I get guest-starring billing at the beginning of the show on my own card, I work for eight days, and -- best of all -- I'll earn enough to qualify for SAG's "good" health insurance for at least another year." w0000000000000000000000t! Congrats, Wil! When do you start? Have a great shoot and be sure to tell us all about it when the veil of secrecy can be lifted. ;-)

"I've never watched a single episode of Buffy, not even Hush." Dude. You just lost major geek points. I thought you and your readers might like to know the Dr. Horrible schedule. Here's an excerpt from a Joss post on whedonesque dot com: ONE WEEK ONLY! AN INTERNET MINISERIES EVENT! "Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog" will be streamed, LIVE (that part’s not true), FREE (sadly, that part is) right on Drhorrible.com, in mid-July. Specifically: ACT ONE (Wheee!) will go up Tuesday July 15th. ACT TWO (OMG!) will go up Thursday July 17th. ACT THREE (Denouement!) will go up Saturday July 19th. All acts will stay up until midnight Sunday July 20th. Then they will vanish into the night, like a phantom (but not THE Phantom – that’s still playing. Like, everywhere.)
