He may have what they call 'lax joints'. Both of my shoulders pop out too. Sucks and it's painful. He's gonna need surgery and a few months therapy to get his arms back in shape.

Avery Bradley out tonight as BOTH shoulders now an issue
This is just great. Somehow Bradley's right shoulder has become an issue as well. The left shoulder is so bad that it practically pops in and out in a strong breeze. Remember when we speculated about the possibility of him needing surgery? Yeah, that's going to happen this offseason...

RedsArmy presents FanFriday #27 "North of the Border"
This week's Fan Friday features Dana from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Dana is one of the many Celtics fans that I interact with via Twitter. Despite living thousands of miles from Boston and the TD Garden, the Celtics are very close to her heart. ...
"It's almost like some of the folks won't be happy till we have a crappy shoot-first point guard who has half the game of Rondo."

Enemy Chatter: Rondo's length, quickness were a problem
I often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics after playing the Celtics. Here's a dose of 'enemy chatter' from Charlotte. The Bobcats' point guards were invisible (combined 1 of 13 from the field, 7 of 10 from the line, 8 assists and 6 turno...
Nothing helps ticket sales like a championship. Look, my Celtics jersey is a Rondo #9 as well. I would HATE to see him go... to Lakeshow no less. And as in my above comments I don't necessarily think Gasol puts us over the top (though it's definitely possible due to his inside scoring and rebounding, winning ways and versatility) but a championship would heal all wounds of losing our little god Rondo.
Rumor: Rondo on the outs here
Larry Coon is a writer for ESPN, HoopsWorld and the New York Times. He's extremely well-respected for his knowledge about the salary cap and CBA. His tweet about Rondo was a response to a fan asking why the Celtics would trade a young, All-Star PG for an aging big man. Regarding the believabil...
Having said that... Gasol would help with rebounding and scoring in the paint. Help enough to make a title run? Not so sure, and would he be emotionally stable to handle a trade to the team he's (theoretically) hated for 4 years? Not so sure about that either.

Maybe Danny sees the games where Pierce played point-forward and thinks the team really doesn't Rondo. I could see that but I don't know. I don't really want Gasol either. He's too old and he's not going to alleviate the salary cap issue next year. I do like his game but is he going to play center? LOL, are you kidding me? No way he's durable enough for that.

Yeah, I don't know what you're talking about. I remember every time he came into a game, when he was healthy, he would give the team a big lift. I like Marquis and his diamond encrusted replica of his own head, lol
Marquis Daniels is glad to be back in Boston
In this interview from today's media day at Waltham, Marquis explains just how much last year's neck/spinal injury affected him. He also gives his reason for choosing to wear #4 this year, and tells a great story about a hospital visit he received while recovering from surgery.
Yeah, this is a joke. These owners are morons. What the hell was that lockout for?
Kwame Brown just got $7 million
Twitter / @WojYahooNBA: Kwame Brown's deal with th ... via kwout Yes. That's SEVEN MILLION DOLLARS! And that's for a guy who produced 7.9 ppg and 6.8 rpg last season. And I know I've seen people say "well, he was OK last year and he's not a bad defender"... bullshit. This is an unjustifi...
Great. Just great. Thanks Felger. Pot calling the kettle black I'd say.
I've said it before, I'm a HUGE Rondo fan. I have his jersey. However, I would also make the Chris Paul trade in a heartbeat if NO was into it, because of our team's specific needs.
But this is wrong. Most likely Rondo's staying in Boston (which is not a bad thing by any means, he's dynamic and a true quarterback of a PG with a gritty heart and soul and a unique skill set) and shit like this is really going to make him begin to feel very unwelcome in Boston. No player wants to feel like the city's against them. Especially, Rondo who was exposed last year as a bit soft at the center.
Video: Felger calls Rondo a "prick" on TV
I'm going to show a lot of restraint here when I say this about Michael Felger: He likes to take extreme stances to get reactions out of people. It's his thing. But sometimes, he can go to far. Like what he said about Rajon Rondo tonight. It comes at the end of the video above, where...
I'm a HUGE Rondo fan. HUGE.
But even I say, for Chris Paul, you make the trade. Chris Paul will undoubtedly bring in Dwight Howard. With the Celtics legacy being more potent than ever and with Doc Rivers, the man who stared Phil Jackson in the eyes and didn't back down, there's NO WAY Dwight doesn't come to Boston.
Another reason is the Heat. Dwight's seen what it takes to build a winning team and he'd know that if he was on a team with CP, Paul Pierce and the best player's coach in the game he'd start collecting rings pretty soon and the Heat would have to go back to the drawing board because they wouldn't be nearly as well balanced/coached.

I'm as pumped that basketball's back as anyone and I'm so excited to see my boys play again. But getting D-Howard next year is the only thing that can make what's bound to be a disappointing early exit from the playoffs this year bearable.

Reason #9,999 Why Rondo is Awesome
The NBA lockout keeps teasing and tormenting us with billionaires and millionaires incessantly fighting over piles of cash that even Scrooge McDuck would shake his head over. So unfortunately, we've all been relegated to random all-star barnstorming tours that feature nothing but dunks and no d...
Rondo for Dwight? Not sure I'd do it. Where do we get a point guard that can run the team as well as him? He may not be as good as Chris Paul at the moment but he's one of the best in the league. Keep in mind, I really want DH12 in green but my dream is Rondo and Dwight ruling the league.

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Although Boston may be the most storied city in league history, it has not hosted an NBA All-Star Game since 1964. As soon as t...
