For what it's worth, The Next Web confirmed with Google that this was a limited test for "< 1% of users." It's not something they've pushed to everyone. Yet.

But I completely agree. It's great that Google realizes people are increasingly moving from search to social, but they're going about evolving for this new space in all the wrong ways.
Google is making a huge and annoying mistake.
I like Google Plus. Some of the smartest people I've ever read are on Google Plus, and the Hangout is amazing. But Google is doing everything it can to force Google Plus on everyone, and it's pissing me off. Yesterday, I tried to like a video on YouTube. I wasn't signed in to my Google Plus acco...
They don't. Popup books totally "pwn" novels in every way. That's why I don't read anymore. The future isn't in reading you guys. It's in popping up. Just wait for the PopupPad to waltz in and level this market.
