Plight of the Pickle
Please, please, please tell me someone else saw that Alien news report last night on the plight of the poor pickle imprisoned in glass within the dark, cold isolation of the fridge. I hope this is a series, and that whatever genius thought of it gets much credit... though I couldn't find any men...
jted - thanks for the follow-up. Some of my favourite people in the world have done time at Ogilvy Toronto.

WOOO HOOO! Creampuff in residence... how cool is that! I know a celebrity, I know a celebrity.
Creampuff Gets Mail!!!
Oh, people. I love getting fun things in the mail almost as much as my girlfriend and this week was exceptionally good. As I waited all this week for my Candy Swap candy to arrive (Maybe today! Maybe today!), I got two OTHER amazing things in the mail. Toggles from The Feminist Mafia Remember wh...
Strawberry Daiquiri, Doc... er.. I mean Deck... my deck, your strawberries, our daiquiris... yum!
Fruity Creampuff
It's strawberry season here in southern Ontario and we opted to buy a flat of berry goodness from our organic food people. Of course, when we ordered a flat of strawberries, we were really ordering hypothetical berries. Berries that would show up LATER. Not berries that would appear at our doo...

1 (RSS Reader) -- Was Pluck but since I can't all my feeds xfer to Firefox because their CSRs can't find my id/pswd, I'm dropping them like a hot stone.
2 (fav. tool) -- It's a draw between Flickr & Typepad
3 (blog?) -- Typepad
4 (time with)? -- Outlook
5 (photos)? -- Flickr & Picasa - though I wish Picasa had the tagging & search features that Adobe's Album has.
6 (most productive)? -- Typepad
7 (play lists)? -- iTunes, even though I'm still without an iPod
8 (online Calendar?) -- no, want one... want a good one, suggestions please.
9 (WIKI?) -- nope - see #8
10 Land line, cell phone or skype? -- Landline (Bell) & cell phone (Telus).
11 (share files)? -- I've been testing ThinkFree
12 (perma-device)? -- camera & a sharpie.
13 (Bookmark) -- no where useful.
14 (fav. free)? -- Picasa
15 (would if free)? -- WebOffice (was intranets.com) or equivalent.
16 (happy to pay for)? -- Typepad & Flickr Pro Account. Both totally provide good ROI for me.
17 ($100K to invest) -- YouTube. Wish I knew more startups, but I don't.
18A How do you socialise online? -- Flickr
Tools? I'm a tool.
Pluck doesn't seem to like my Firefox and I have lost all my RSS feeds. Rather than rebuilding them in an obviously wonky tool with a low CSR factor, I want to ask "what reader are you using?" But then I thought... "why stop there?" You know you want to brag about finding the coolest tools, ...

Thanks. It was pretty good for my first eBay auction I think. The irksome part was that I was contacted by 5 people in the 6 hours after the sale wheeling, dealing and offering more than the winning price because they missed the auction and wanted the site.
ARGH!
But what we got is enough to get Ger a decent laptop - and that was my goal.
Good Metro & Ontario Morning.
6:18am - I'm already late. Zooming down Jarvis in a cab I have just 27 minutes to get myself to CBC, through security, up to the 3rd floor studio and on air with Andy Barrie for Metro Morning to discuss the sale of TheApprenticeBlog.com on eBay. When I crashed last night the bidding was at $...
It's almost a sin to insist someone wear a "full set of undergarments" for 63 days in the summer. Let alone pants. I hope you have air conditioning.
Creampuff Puts Pants On - FOREVER
A few hours from now, Chgi, my Fringe adventure partner who flew in from Vancouver last night, will show up at our place to begin our first rehearsal for 87% True: The Lies That Bind!! Fun! Frolic! Someone else who'll be here all day to help me spy on my neighbours! But then it hit me - from th...
I get a lot of grief from my friends and family for doing this... but I do it to their food too.
