Shari, There's no need to precook the bacon. Since it's a half slice and bakes for 20 minutes, the bacon will be crispy. However, if you like your bacon extra crispy, it won't hurt to precook it for 10 minutes or so.

Hi Caitlyn, These hold up pretty well during reheating. I think if you partially bake them the night before, wrap in foil, and reheat on a grill that they will be perfect.
