Our "pibble" (I'm totally stealing that term now) Ginger does that same thing at night. Keeps me and my hubby from snuggling each other because she's right in between us, nose buried under one of our pillows.

My husband and I have had a standing Saturday night get-together with our friends, their spouses, and as life has progressed, the kids. It's mostly MtG but we also play a lot of board games and non-MtG card games. D&D campaigns have fallen apart but for 2012 we are looking to put together a campaign where people can rotate characters if someone can't show up, so the game doesn't stall out if a player can't make it (honestly I don't know why they didn't do this earlier...).

Ohhhhh now I want to go back to Maui!! Did you happen to stop at the winery while you guys were upcountry (yes I know you're a beer person)? I wanted to hit the lavendar farm while I was there but ran out of time - got too busy "tasting" the wine.

Love the Hallmark store and the SW/ST ornaments. One year we plugged about a dozen of the various ships that had light and sound effects onto a strand of white lights, mounted it all on the ceiling beam divider between the kitchen and the living room, and plugged it in. It was spectacular for about 2 seconds, then the strand got all dim and flickery. Hearing the Borg Cube audio was like the Collective had been drugged with ether, and it was especially hard to take serious their threat of assimilation.

I need to apologize to you for not sharing my die story with you (I had a massive sudden attack of fangirl derpitis and have been kicking myself over it ever since), but better late than never so here goes. I had won my little red and yellow speckled ten-sider the night before meeting you, at my very first Cthulhu-related event. I am finally making it a point to get into CoC-related gaming and the vast Cthulhu mythos for not only the sake of my own enjoyment, but because I get the honor of intro-ing some new-to-us gaming to my group of friends, as they were the ones that taught me MtG and D&D 15+ years back (and well, we've all been in a bit of a rut ever since :D). Sadly, the die itself never saw any gameplay but what it symbolizes overall, something I can say, "Hey, let me me show you guys something for once," it's a point of pride for me.

(insert lots of "AWWWWWhosabigbabywuvviepuppy" here after looking at pics) Seven years ago, me and the hubs went to the local SPCA and were adopted by Ginger. Yup, she adopted us. Hand to God that's how it happened. Swap out Seamus's black fur for tan and you have our Ginger. All rescue organizations (not the ones that are actually just animal hoarders or puppy mills in disguise) deserve our kudos and thanks for caring for the furry (and sometimes scaly) critters that need it.

I can't wait to see the Friday seminar and have my fingers and toes crossed to be able to get at least a pic with you. But in case I can't catch you in the auto-g line, thanks for taking the time to come out to GC, not just as a GoH but as a gamer too.

I'm beyond ecstatic that you and 2/3 of the Knights of Good will be there! Here's hoping I can catch at least a brief moment with you on Friday (since I have to go back to reality on Saturday - sigh).
