When I left the theater I felt so changed. I know it sounds weird, but its true. Everyone is a living being and deserves to be treated with respect. I never thought I'd see a movie that made me feel... Continue reading

There are a lot of messages someone could take away from Avatar. I think the biggest message would be that we are all living creatures within the same universe and its not right to go stealing from someone else just... Continue reading

Neytiri throws Jake's torch in the water after saving him from the viperwolves because she might think the fire would attract them back. Another reason could be because the Na'vi and all of Pandora is filled with life forms that... Continue reading

Perhaps it could work as long as the human body has an oxygen mask on. Without the mask the poison Pandora air would get into the human's body. They would have to grow a human body first without it having... Continue reading

I think she is testing to see if he is a true Na'vi born on Pandora or whether his body was grown in a lab. The Na'vi seem to be able to tell a lot from creatures right when they... Continue reading

cool. i was just using my imagination which is why i love this movie so much.
How are the big circular arches formed? I think it has something to do with magnets. Maybe there is some element on the end of each arch that draws it back in the ground forming an arch. The same could... Continue reading

One of my hobbies is collecting trading cards. I usually stick with baseball and football, but sometimes I go outside my element and try something new. One thing I'm surprised to see is the lack of an Avatar trading card set. If you browse eBay, you'll find a lot of fans who have made their own or obtained a few promotional cards that were provided to them from specific theaters. If they did make a licensed card set I'm sure it would be a big hit with fans. One reason why a set may not have been created is because the manufacturers didn't want to take the chance of the movie not being popular and then people wouldn't purchase the cards. As of right now, I'm betting manufacturers wish they would have gone through with a set, but by now the licensing cost is probably through the roof. If they ever decide to make a set, there are a ton of different things they could make for the fans. Of coarse there could be randomly inserted autographs and relic cards containing pieces from the movie. I'd love to see the use of holograms in a product based on Avatar. It would even be cool to see the old lenticular technology come back from the 80's. What does everyone else think about an Avatar trading card set? What would you like to see in one?

Before last night I had never watched much of any of the past Golden Globe Awards. In my opinion, I don't think a film has to win an award to be successful. The public decides how to receive a film and whether to like it or not. I think awards just put the frosting on the cake. But its always cool to see your favorite movie win something. James Cameron and the whole team that helped create Avatar did such a great job and they deserve it. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I've never had an experience in a theater like I did when I saw Avatar. It was probably one of the most original films I have ever seen. Pandora rules!!!!!!!

good idea. perhaps Eywa could use grace's body, either human or na'vi, and communicate with others.
How many Golden Globes will Avatar win? It should win all of them :) Continue reading

The other night I went to see the hugely popular movie Avatar 3D, and it was probably one of the best films I've ever seen. I could watch that movie a thousand times and I'd still be learning new things. The graphics were stunning and it had a terrific story behind it. James Cameron has one heck of an imagination and I can't wait to see what he has in store for its sequel. Being a big fan of superhero movies and stuff like that, I usually know what I'm in for when I plan to go to a movie... Continue reading
