I've recently been working on an app with some crypto stuff in it, and i'm totally pumped that the exact two things you mentioned in your developers advice paragraph (Bcrypt and PBKDF2) are the two algorithms i'm relying on! Sweet :) (if anyone's interested, it's called 'Skeleton Key Password Manager' on the iOS app store)
