I love it!! Bought some white fabric in an attempt to make a quilt like the one you are making. I am a bit nervous to try it, but hopefully I can make it work. Enjoy your indoor time!!

i love it!! can you share the pattern on how you made it. i am just starting to quilt and have not done anything with triangles. to be honest they scare me a little. i just stick with squares and strips so far. it is gorgeous!!

So glad that you are doing so well. I felt so bad for you when you got sick after eating the fish. You are looking awesome and so glad that you are shopping in the "normal" section now. Love you!!

I know that I am one of those you are speaking of. I hope you know that even tho I do not agree with your decision I do support you. You are my best friend and I worry about you because I love you. We do not have to agree on everything, that is what makes us different. I hope that everything goes well for you and that you are able to be free of your diabetes. I want you to be happy and healthy and I want you to be around for many more year for your family and more selfishly for me.

Bella and Roxie love having her come over and play. We need to do that more often. I am glad that we could be there to help pick her out.

I was looking thru some of my creations today and found some that I had not shared, so I decided that it was time to share those. Last winter I found this cute little jewelry box at Walmart. It was on clearance for $3. I picked it up and thought that I could use it for something. As I was creating my layouts for Legacies I thought "hey, I can turn it into a dresser." So I did. I love it!! Here are a few other photos of it. Here is a close up of the top of the dresser.... Continue reading

Wow, what a slacker I have been lately. Well not really, it has been crazy busy the last two months at work and at home. June... This kit is by a new paper company Echo Park. The line is called Summertime and I love it. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons because of all the pastel and bright colors, not to mention the warm/hot sunshine. I have always been a warm weather girl!! My first creation with this kit is a layout of Hayleigh. When I saw the papers in the kit, I knew that they would be perfect... Continue reading

The kit this month from Scrapbook Legacies is a black and white kit. I just love the papers and embellishments. Black and white are two of my favorite colors (even tho technically they are not colors at all). You can create elegant layouts or you can create dressed down layouts. Black and white are perfect for a wide variety of projects. Here is the May kit: The first layout that I created is of Kaya on her 2nd birthday. The title is :Always Fun". I used glimmer mist and a mask to the the fancy flourish on the right side... Continue reading

In honor of my favorite hobbies day I wrote a cheer for all of us scrapbookers... Today's the day that scrappers wait for ~ filled with paper, buttons, and embellishments galore ~ it's the one day of the year ~ that all of us scrappers stand and cheer ~ we get together at a crop ~ you'll hear trimmers and scissors go chop, chop, chop ~ we eat and laugh and giggle and create ~ the scrapbook stores sell lots of freight ~ at the end of the day we pack up all of our stuff ~ take a walk... I absolutely love this months kit from Scrapbook Legacies. It is the Fresh Print Clothesline line of products from My Little Yellow Bicycle. They are all just so pretty. I am so into butterflies right now. I just love how the ones in this layout look so feminine and delicate. This layout was inspired by the frame that was in the kit. Of course it helped that it was the same color as Hayleigh's Easter dress. The flower on the bottom of the layout is on a doily that has been distressed using the spun sugar distressing ink from Ranger.... Continue reading

Welcome to my creative website. I have my personal blog and now feel the need to have a blog just for sharing my creations. I love to create in many different mediums. Photography, fabric, paper, food, yarn, beads, just about anything. My creations do not always turn out like I envision them but that is just the way it goes. this is my first share. I created this card a few days ago. It is created with the KOTM from Scrapbook Legacies. I am on the Design Team for Legacies and they put together the best kits. I still have... Continue reading

donna, I hope that you are having a blast with your mom. Just wanted to share a book that I read with you. It is a childrens book but it really impacted me. "Let Me Hold You Longer" by Karen Kingsbury. I read it and cried yesterday. There is a scrapbook page waiting to happen after reading that book. Just thought that you would enjoy the book if you have not read it yet. Have a great weekend. chris

I am right there with you on the low rise. I don't to it. Love the "muffin top". I totally have that action going on, not that I want anyone seeing it. I just think that it is gross when the muffin top and the crack in back is showing. What is even worse is the thong straps pulled up over the sides of the muffin top!!!!!! I love the rock painting. I used to collect rocks when I was a kid too. My grandma, now deceased, used to collect them with me. She would alway put them in a special tin bucket that she has at her house. When she passed away, my uncle threw them away before we got there for the funeral (we lived across the country from her). I was very sad and wished that I could have had that bucket of rocks. Have a great day. As always love reading your comments.
