Hi Doug. I will likely be teaching this class again in 2012 for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and Sinclair Community College Workforce Development and possibly the Anderson Area Chamber. There are no specific classes yet scheduled. The class is not free, it's around $100.

Hi Anne. The SEO class is on Thursday November 10th. Sorry about the error, I'll edit it now.

Thanks for the comment and including a link to the Enquirer article Joanne. Eisha is awesome and last year I noticed and appreciated the work she was doing to promote Mom Corps Cincinnati, and that prompted the interview. Glad you like it.

Hi Zack. Thank you for your comment alerting me to a problem you had with the video. I'm sorry you were not able to view the interview, I just tried it here on the blog and at YouTube and it worked just fine for me. Maybe YouTube was slow or down when you tried to view it. Can you please try again and let me know if it doesn't work again? Thanks and I hope you visit the blog again.

You're welcome David. I'm happy to spread the word about SummitUp and agree it will again prove to be an excellent opportunity for those who attend to build connections and add to their social media knowledge. It's great to be able to not only hear from but interact with local experts like Michael and Kevin but national experts like Brian Solis. Last year it was great to not only hear Bob Garfield and Chris Brogan speak but talk with them as they autographed their books. I'm also glad you mentioned the regional aspect of the meeting as I met some great people from Columbus and Kentucky at last year's event. See you there.

Thanks Steve! I am really looking forward to it and appreciate the Chamber inviting to come in and speak and your wishing me luck. Google AdWords sure has turned into a beast, with so many more options and features it's a lot more complicated managing accounts now than years ago when I started.

OK, thanks for the feedback Glenn, I will try to use a tripod for future interviews when feasible.

Thanks Jeff. I'm glad you liked it and will keep posting more video interviews of the "movers and shakers" of the local Internet marketing scene.

Good point Joanne. A company's videos, like the rest of their web content should convey the image the firm is seeking to project. Rob Bunting

Nick, Thanks for your comment! I like your analogy to the "choose your adventure books". Without directing people where to go or what to do, folks will wander around aimlessly for a click or two and then lose patience and/or interest and exit the site. It amazes me how often people don't "ask for the sale" on their website.

Great Brent, thank you for the comment and I hope you can make the meeting on the 18th, we always have a lot of fun. Honestly, I would be surprised if we get someone with personal experience creating Facebook apps at the meeting as I don't know anyone who has done that, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone there could refer you to a developer who could help. I hope if someone stumbles on this post down the road who could help they'll leave their contact info or contact me.

Thanks for the comment 'Hotel Internet Marketing', it's nice to have a comment from a reader Down Under and I'm glad it was just what you were looking for. Also, thanks to Nicole for her comment back in September. I think your comment about people using search to learn more about candidates is interesting, my view is at least some people are making an effort to do ANY research on a candidate. My view is most people know very little about who they are voting for or against, so any online researching is at least a start.
