I often suggest the use of candles as feng shui enhancements. They are great for firing up the wealth, fame and relationship (pairs are best here) sections of a person's home, room or office, according to the bagua. While attending the 8th Annual Conscious Life Expo, I came accross something that really caught my attention. Ravenscroft Escentials had candles that were made using beautiful reused containers, such as golden chalices, glass hearts, and teapots. I love the ingenuity and the care put into these lovely candles! They were definitely eco chic and also great for feng shui. The quintessential example... Continue reading

I've recently been working on my other blogs, and I feel that now's a good time to start adding to this one. There are two major events, coming up, that I'll be covering for my readers and for Elephant Journal, a Boulder, CO-based online journal geared towards "lifestyles of health and sustainability" (LOHAS for short). They are: Conscious Life Expo in Los Angeles, February 12th-14th, 2010 . This is a new one for me and I'm REALLY jazzed about it, because there will be people from both of my main areas of interest there...spirituality and green business. It's the ultimate,... It dulls the senses and it is used as a numbing agent, much like food- eating your emotions...alcohol- drinking your emotions... drugs- escaping your emotions...clutter- displacing your emotions in "stuff". Here's how dictionary.com defines addiction: the state of... Continue reading
