4:39 pm: We've verified ClickTime back to full service. 4:35 pm: ClickTime is up and running again for most customers. 4:30 pm: We have identified the cause of the login issues and are working to restore application service. 4:11 pm: We have temporarily disabled logins to the ClickTime web app while we investigate. 4:00 pm: Some users may not be able log in to the ClickTime application. Update 12:59 pm: We are back online! Thank you for your patience as we worked to restore access to ClickTime. Update 12:15 pm: We are in the final stages of restoring access to the system. Thank you for bearing with us, as it took our team longer than expected to address this issue. ClickTime access should be restored within the hour! Earlier today, ClickTime began to experience performance issues at 8:20am. We immediately started investigating the issue, and decided to prevent additional logins from exacerbating the issue by disabling logins at 9:05 a.m. At 9:45 a.m. we identified the likely source and began to address it. At 10:15, we re-enabled logins for all users. This issue was related to a check we perform to see if a user has left stopwatches running. In order to keep ClickTime working smoothly, securely and to add new functionality, it becomes necessary to stop supporting legacy technology. Following in the footsteps of Google, Mozilla and Microsoft, we are announcing the end-of-support for the RC4 cipher as of April 25, 2016. Newer and more secure ciphers are supported by all modern supported browsers and operating systems, so this shouldn’t effect our customers but we want to be transparent with changes such as these.
