Baseball is a crazy game. It's really the only thought popping into my head as I sit here and pray Duke can pull off the win over Baylor. Apparently I am mistaken, because i thought we were in North Carolina. Today it was 35 degrees with a "feels like" reading of 17. I thought my ears were going to fall off at practice, and the crazy amounts of layers i was wearing made any type of serious movement borderline uncomfortable. Like it or not, baseball is officially over and the Yankees are champions. Tommy Lasorda is right, it is the saddest day of the year. Maybe that is why Dave Walters was out of the office today..or maybe it's because his beloved Phillies are traveling back to Philly today instead of taking batting practice for the would-be game seven (just kidding Dave, but I had to go there.) As promised, I am back with at least one more update before classes resume. However, since there isn't much going on in the Guilford community because of fall break, I suppose I get to bore you with my own personal antics.
