I’ve been working at Calvary for a little over two months. In many ways it feels like I have been here longer, and at the same time I’m also still figuring out all the small details. The beginning of April... Continue reading

It was a really good weekend. Maybe I'm in such a happy mood because it's suddenly sunny and spring like outside? Either way I'll take it. I finally figured out what boy's product I wanted to add to my Chintz... Continue reading

Let me just say that I could have used a bit more downtime this weekend. It was hectic! I had a lovely Easter, but I'm tired. Service at church was positively lovely. The entire sanctuary smelled like the beautiful, fresh... Continue reading

Yesterday I had the opportunity to speak at church. Everyone on staff was assigned one of Jesus' seven last works. Mine was "it is finished." For a few shaky moments I stood in the darkness of Calvary's sanctuary and spoke... Continue reading

I have so very many thoughts to share about my time in Dallas last weekend for the second Hope Spoken conference. When I think conferences I think boring, big, and that I’ll need more coffee than usual. When I imagine... Continue reading

Have you heard of World Vision? They are a fantastic, Christian organization and one of the causes they champion is clean water. World Vision raises the most support aside from government agencies. How cool is that!? A few weeks ago,... Continue reading

I've been a bit behind on blogging recently, and I have a great reason for it. In between starting a new job at my church (more on that later!) and gearing up for a hopefully full photography season I decided... Continue reading

Wednesday was Ash Wednesday. Growing up Catholic, I always looked forward to the service and Lenten season. There is something so reflective and quiet about the season before Easter. As I've grown and developed in my faith, Easter has become... Continue reading

My favorite part about Mexico were the colors. Such perfect, vibrant, loud hues: hand lettered shop signs, Our Lady of Guadalupe murals, pure red coca-cola advertisements, and desert flowers blooming. I knew I was going to like it. My favorite... Continue reading

Meep! I can't wait to hear more about your business :) Maybe I'll have to fly down to Vegas to attend a party ;) That dress is darling on you. I loveeeee when dresses are comfortable, it makes getting dressed up feeling almost like cheating. Congrats to Anna! I'm so pleased it turned out well. Good for her.

Congrats, you two :) I didn't know about the rice thing. I have always thought decorated cars (beyond: "just married") were really tacky. Especially when people put sexual things on them. Rude! I love Anna's cake toppers. Red is an interesting tux/wedding gown choice!

So neat! I love how you both ended up with paintings that are similar, but your own styles at the same time :) I've done this sort of thing once a few years ago with a friend. We had a blast! Hope Scott enjoyed his paint-water cocktail ;)
