My condolences to you Wil. I can't say I've really been around animals enough to get attached to them with one exception... but that one exception is pretty much what you're feeling now, I'm sure. I know that almost certainly doesn't make you feel better but hopefully, all these comments together do...

How long did you have this video planned? At least a couple of months I figure. :D Anyway, merry candles on a cake celebrating your birth day!

I will never look at Batman the same again now that Blue Beetle/you had a total geek talk with him. Which, BTW, was totally awesome!

Geez, Wil! You're bad with time today. As others have said, it's on at 1:30 PM EST. I suppose I can't blame you too much tho for mixing up EST with PST... I do it all the time with other time zones. Anyway lookin forward to seeing it later today.

I am definitely WAY too young to remember any of that stuff. I didn't even know there was a Q-Bert cartoon. I remember avidly playing that game though. Addictive little thang. Also, that Pac-Man cereal was actually kinda cool... The 80's flashback from that came zooming back though.

Good linkage there, Wil! Got 11 out of 14 myself. The rest I don't believe I remember at all and some I DID get I don't remember. The joys of being a kid in the 80's - and then not remembering a darn thing about it. I still watch today though somewhat but I have to say the quality has gone quite downhill since 2002. Way too predictable. :(

What you just posted is why I have a lot of respect for the good American voice actors (because I find there to be so few) not to mention seiyuu as a whole. They do great work and I know I'm appreciative of it.

You are not alone... I was in the Obama camp since at least last January. I don't support Hilary because she doesn't exactly treat my area of the state as if it exists. And she says she tries to support all of New York... pfffttt. If she does end up somehow winning the dems nomination, I'll still probably vote for her though but it'll be close if McCain wins. Edwards I never viewed as much of a candidate, especially considering the '04 election. I must admit he has improved in my eyes a bit but not enough to count for me.

Ah! Retconning... Something I first became quite familiar with having read the Magic: The Gathering novels back in the day (and the past few recent ones). Also: "I can't imagine life without comics, hobby games, dice, science fiction, movie soundtracks, and the people who love them." That sentence could be truer. Though you could just add a nice video game controller and that'd be perfect for me... A product of being younger I suppose. :P

Northern New York is much like Wisconsin in the winter. Every day is just another shade of grey with intermittent shades of white on a blacktop background. Really depressing at times. And for that reason, it's great to see this! Thanks for sharing.

I missed the ep when it originally aired here and we don't have TiVo here but I did catch it online. I wish I didn't have to but in the end I buckled. Though in the end it's probably better to watch it online through Innertube than to download the HDTV torrent that's almost certainly illegal. As for the writer's strike, I understand your point Carol but there's support then there's going overboard... There's a nice medium to be found somewhere in there and breaking it to watch ONE episode of a show I don't believe will kill the writer's efforts. Particularly if you end up picketing with them/donating money as well.

Firstly, about the WGA strike, I have to say that support the it since they really do deserve SOMETHING for those internet works. But it seems more than one of my friends who don't really get their news from anywhere seem to think that the 500K or whatever it is some writers make is what they make every year when in fact some will go years before getting another solid writing gig. Or at least that's the way I understand how it works from another site I was linked to from some forums. Secondly, just got the new TV Guide and there's a picture of you in there in your Numb3rs. Gotta say you're lookin' snazzy. Episode(s) should be GOOD.

Quoted: OK, so - You sure that was 1987/88? I heard Sailor Moon didn't get started until the '90s. Ya know that comment made me look it up as unimportant as the factoid is... inner geek, I guess. Original run was from 92-97 in Japan according to Wikipedia. Anyway, that fact doesn't do anything to the quality of this post. Just so LOL all around! And no one wants to know how much anime porn there probably is out there. Even I dunno how much there is exactly but I can bet you there's probably something for every popular series out there... so wrong. :(

I may not know what its like when that happens now but it's certainly something I hope happens when I have children someday. I feel happy for ya on this one. And happy for Nolan too, of course!
