Great job Sat CFATL. That was a straight up ass-whoopin. Once you found your rhythm in the second half it was a blood bath. I just posted a recap of the carnage to our site. http://www.crossfitnorthatlanta.com/community/ Nonetheless it was alot of fun and we appreciate the good sportsmanship as you ripped out our spines :) I suppose the stage is set for a winner take all tiebreaker grudge match. I'll work with Mike G to see if we can get something on the books. Had the Dawgs not come through last night - yesterday would have really sucked! Cheers. Trex and CFNA

more importantly if a squat/ run combo was humbling... you defenititely don't want a piece of today's WOD... RX this mutha is a BEAR. On that note... don't worry about tackling this RX if you are not well into you CF life... its a bruiser. We have some great ways to scale it for everyone - and if scaled right it is still a smackdown... just not a trip to the morgue:) JK

I was there and no he didn't... but he did have to dodge the cards of everyone leaving - that could have slowed him down

that's funny Joe I was saying the same thing about you... felt like I was on your heel the entire time. Rnd 15 was pure pain management. Lower back was completely seized up. 13 felt fine - but rolled right in 14 which was pretty much all I had. Kudus on the 15 of 15 i know you were burning C*diesel fumes. I walked into the office later today to find JD curled up on the couch... asking how my back felt today. No need to to ask him seeing as how he was all but sucking his thumb in fetal position... couple other factors at work... but nonethless... I think the old DL ladder donkey kicked us all in the teeth

Tim that is just the kinda of response we were hoping to hear. Thanks. Yes that is one example of why we are rolling with the stagger. It is going to allow for so much more flexibility, preparation time, and better alternative programming when it comes on heavy & rest days.

it is a push button thing of beauty... Espresso, Cafe Latte, Capaccino, Black Coffee and of course the DOUBLE SHOT add-on for every selection

Just did Jeff

I think the SBers have a whole new look on the heavy days. If you tackle the heavy wods the way ya'll have been hitting them in strength bias - look out. My guess is everyone will find a lot more balance in HQ mainpage WODS. CrossFit HQ is just DAMN good programming. Can I get an AMEN?!

Solid WOD as mentioned above. I was still a bit rashy with my hives so I opted out for a little more healing time.

YUP... sorry about that Jeff, and you are absolutely right. I posted that late last night after your email. A few folks ran something close to it this morning but changes were made and the weights are definitely different. Actually Jeff and team BTB put a together a great WOD using movements that most everyone should feel comfortable with... should be fun for any experience level. So Today's WOD has been changed. It is at the gym and guaranteed crowd pleaser. Come and get it. SIGN UP FOR SAT or prepare to face the consequences

oh yeah and I thought I'd share my latest kick in the face... so 20 days ago Strep throat... first WOD back was that qualifier wball/DU/rope climb workout... got a nasty rope burn.... and it of course gets infected.... on day 12 of the 14 day antibio cycle and yesterday I break out with hives here and there. Today I wake up covered in them. Turned out I am allergic to that kinda of "sulfa" antibiotic. Just left doc with a steriod pack. ughhhh I can't buy a break!

Wes that would be a grand idea - thanks. Actually the Coug forgot to do an equipment check before prescribing this WOD... our "slam balls" have seen better days to say the least. It is starting to pour right now so it might not even matter.

it's late... and I'm trying to catch up on my peeps as I've been a bit tied up with all the new POD stuff... but holy shnikes I just snarffed espresso out of my nose and all over my keyboard something about that exchange hit me with the funny hammer across the face... BRILLIANT

I love it... girl crush... blushing... I like where this is going! Mellissa you are definitely a hero over here in the CFNA back office... your name comes up quite a bit. Great blog. I'll make sure we get a link over to asap. With as much as I've heard Allison & Tony talk about it I am surprised we haven't already. Tony- great find. That is just what some of the folks around here needed to here... and from someone else besides us. After the hard routine of the lockdown it has been pretty damn easy to start sliding back down the slippery path towards old bad habits. I definitely need to dial it back in and find that balance.
