Recently I have been thinking a lot about the future of my business. Wondering about the way forward and how to bring the plans I have for everything into existence. It's kind of scary to think about the big things,... Continue reading

This week has been the usual mix of work, family, story writing, story telling, going to the park instead of going to bed, and wearing cat socks. With a little bit of Christmas thrown into the mix! Continue reading

Last Monday we filled the car with enough food for at least twenty people, enough clothes for at least a dozen, a few board games, and two extremely excited little ones. We went to stay in a caravan in North... Continue reading

Before I show you some exciting things I must apologise for my lack of blog posts this week. I think I definitely underestimated the school holidays. Working with two little ones around all day is tough and something had to... Continue reading

Last week was ever so slightly themed by bamboo hearts. Stamping them, selling them, photographing them, listing them & posting them. I was prototyping card designs to present the small hearts on. Inbetween the dozens of hearts was exciting post,... Continue reading

LOVE this comment Anna! You are totally right - there are no more minutes. And if there are it is to do things like have a shower, which if we're lucky will be in a bathroom with no children chattering away at you whilst you're in there. And so it goes. Good luck with the knitting samples - you can do it, you're a superstar xx
Ahh thanks Pippa! We're all in it together x
So glad you enjoyed it. I think it's familiar to a lot of people :)
Ha ha!! I'm glad that I don't appear frantic all the time :) 1000 words a day is amazing Cally! My husband is a writer so I know just how tricky it can be - especially with a little one!
Ha! Exactly the same here. Matilda's at school & Theo's at nursery and all I can think is "Oh it' so quiet, I miss them!" Ooh and I keep meaning to tell you - my neighbour went to one of your classes a couple of weeks ago (quilted cushion) and absolutely loved it xx
Hi Jo, how exciting! I love being that role model for my children. My parents were the same when we were growing up and I think we've benefitted from it a lot. Good luck with you journey - I bet you'll do amazingly :)
Victoria I think you're right. Please can I come to Canada?! So glad you enjoyed the post - it was fun to write :)
Awww! Thanks Jade! I think I'm just ploughing through like all the other mums & dads. But I'm very glad you like my work, thank you x
I often wonder if that squeezing it all in will ever stop! Even when the kids are older I bet they'll still be a million and one things to cram into every day. Good luck Alissa - we can do it :)
