I put the shed aside last week but I've had time to pick it up again this weekend my favourite part of the process is choosing the colours this weekend, due to bad weather, I have had quite a bit of stitching time but this morning we dropped the new home educated crew of the Hardiess...
I do feel quite lucky to be able to do this and say 'shhh go away I'm working'!! x

I think embroidery is great for children especially if they can embroider their own drawings. My boys always enjoyed handcrafts more than my daughter really. I hope you had fun too x

Pipany suggested that they are milk maids and I think she is right. It got sunnier the next day but there were some pretty big waves!! Luckily they were off the boat the day before the big storm!! x

funnily enough I have spent my whole life avoiding gardening for the very reason that my mum used to drag us around her garden (she still does!) to look at all the things she had grown. Not one of us gardens! I am sure that the children will make it lovely and then I will cook the produce (I'm not sure if they realise that this is the idea). I think gardening must skip a generation!!
