what? tannehill went down? we have the top rusher from last year AND the guy behind him that will average more yards per carry THIS year so what does gase do? gets jay cutler and decides to throw the ball more than any team in the league. ANY TEAM. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/passing-play-pct gase has one more year in my book and then his ass should be kicked the hell out. the play calling sucked, the penalties were symptomatic of a team with no discipline or control and that starts at the top.

so glad this nightmare of a football season is over. it's as if every move they made failed. bad coaching too, as shadow said.. just horrific. when your starting QB goes down, and your line is still inconsistent, it's unfathomable that you'd lead the league in penalties. apparently gase wants to bring in someone to help with the offense; not sure what that would do as it really starts with personnel, and this team outside of some skill position players, doesn't have it. looks like taking a chance on david njoku, as woody suggested, would've been a better move. he shared time with the brown's other tight end but showed some great stuff. not giving up on harris, but the success of this team, including the defense, rests on the offense's ability to string long drives together to keep our D rested. gase admitted that earlier in the year as well; this defense was built to protect a lead. areas of need include offensive line, tight end, linebacker and defensive line. the good news is with restructuring and cuts, we could have upwards of $60 million to spend next offseason. yes. $60 million. resigning landry is a priority and after that, focusing on the areas of need primary need; offensive line and line backer, with the draft helping fill out the other areas.

no he can't oc. he is constitutionally incapable of not being a homer hater when it comes to the NBA. tatum #1? hahahahaha just as stupid as saying "no hayward no problem".

thanks for the commentary dave however you already told us this team was going nowhere this year. You're off the bandwagon big Warrior. Posted by: Big Baby | 10/16/2017 at 09:01 AM they ARE going nowhere, dumb ass. glad you finally realized it with one game left.

yes showdow.. the inimitable terry reid, who was asked by his pal jimmy page to be the singer in the supergroup he was forming, and terry said no. as terry told me, hindsight is 20/20. at the time he was 21, signed a solo deal with atlantic records and was set to open for the rolling stones on their 1968 tour. terry looked at me and said "what would YOU have done? plus, had i bailed out on the stones 10 days before their tour started keith would've slit me throat!" i worked with terry a few times in the past and he's quite a character, to say the least. happy new year shadow

never said they wouldn't have a solid season, and i never said their new rookies can play. they can. YOU were the moron who said they'd win 60 AND the east. remember no "hayward no problem"? well, no whiteside, waiters, dragic and winslow "no problem" when we spanked your asses last week which started your eventual slide into "pretty good" not "great" territory where you belong. i told you it was a long season with a lot of ball to be played so based on your back tracking comments above, we're happy you've come around. when IT gets back, the cavs are the team to beat. you've been talking about that "upside" ever since we had lebron and it's interesting how you can't manifest it into results. oh well.. maybe next year, right?

a happy christmas to everyone on the blog. i have been traveling and navigating some interesting musical endeavors. i also had trouble logging in here and needed to call AT&T to sort everything out with my account, username, password, etc. the dolphins need help; offensive line and linebacker, PERIOD. the heat are staying competitive and are doing better than last year all while missing 4 starters. the celtics are crashing down to earth because they're overrated. for anyone interested, the great joe perry from aerosmith is set to release his next solo album featuring drumming from your favorite liberal. other guests on the record include robin zander from cheap trick, david johansen from the new york dolls, terry reid, johhny depp and others. he asked me to be in the band he put together, which also features dean and robert deleo on guitar and bass; they were the 2 brothers in stone temple pilots. i've also been recording with the amazing producer linda perry and 2 upcoming projects include sessions with ronnie spector and another with dolly parton.. lol this year is starting off really well, and i am excited.

Let's be fair also Miami hasn't played anybody this year either. Really weak schedule almost top to bottom. Posted by: Big Baby | 11/10/2017 at 02:16 PM let's be even MORE fair: miami is ranked #2 in the country.

keep planning that championship in november, little douche bag. at least that is only slightly less ridiculous than trying to tell us the #2 ranked team in the country is "rebuilding'.. hahahahahahahahaha how's boston college? and fuck off with that UCF nonsense..
not sure shadow.. this is still a relatively young canes team who's two best offensive players are out with injuries as well as one of their best defensive players. it's funny but when teams like ohio state or auburn win close games, they say good teams find a way to win but when it's miami winning close games it's somehow a mark against us. last night showed the country how good we are and it's only going to get better..

i might be at that game in charlotte as well, with my father.. and yep, this canes team is for fucking REAL.

anyone else wondering if a team is still rebulding on the eve of a top 4 ranking? oh.. your little celtics win streak ends tomorrow. while you planned your parade i told you it was only november. it's still only november and already your center missed games from a concussion and your point guard got his face ripped up and will miss tomorrow's game. it's a long season big jack ass but by all means, keep prognosticating!

Catholics will probably win this one I am with LeBatard. Posted by: Big Baby | 11/10/2017 at 09:10 AM Big Baby Mark Richt looks like a good coach but anyone see what Georgia is doing without him? Richt couldn;t win big games at UGA that was the knock on him. Posted by: Big Baby | 11/10/2017 at 09:12 AM Big Baby Win or lose the exposure can only be good for the UM program as they rebuild. Posted by: Big Baby | 11/10/2017 at 09:22 AM hahahahahahahaha the big baby reverse curse in full effect! keep em coming jack ass.

this defense is completely legit; the performance they put on was as good as any team in college. they completely shut notre dame down. if the playoff committee were fair we'd get the #2 ranking tomorrow night, but we probably won't. as jimmy johnson said, just keep winning and that will take care of everything.

hey baby? sexual assault isn't partisan, you little pansy. and you're lucky it isn't because the catholic church is worse than anyone. stick to telling us miami is rebuilding and the notre dame will win. miami 41 irish 8 stick THAT in your ass when you're done with your boyfriend tonight in the back bay..

keys to the game.. force that inferior notre dame QB to throw the ball by stopping their running game. easier said than done, but this irish team is pretty one dimensional. offense needs to really force that abandonment of their running game. i'm with you woods.. i wanted to be there so bad but some serious music commitments are preventing that from happening. nothing like a quick trip home to a meaningful sold out saturday night canes game and a jump in the ocean to satisfy the soul. and with the dolphins on the road i wouldn't be forced to watch them fuck up against the panthers in person.. lol

"to be real", the miami-hasn't-played-anybody argument is horse shit as teams reanked higher have as many top 25 wins as we do. miami should be ranked higher as i argued above but that all changes tonight.

my father and i were in south bend last year for that game; a winnable game too. ND is good, but so are we. especially at home.

Win or lose the exposure can only be good for the UM program as they rebuild. Posted by: Big Baby | 11/10/2017 at 09:22 AM teams in the top 10 vying for the national championship, and 1 win away from being a top 5 team aren't rebuilding. nice try though.

biggest game of miami in years.. feels like the old days. it's funny how the polls still don't respect us. TCU has no business being ranked ahead of miami with one loss to our none, and with the same number of top 25 wins. you could make a similar argument against oklahoma as well. the fact is, the polls NEVER respected miami, even when we fielded some of the greatest teams in college football history, along with the best players in the NFL. if we win on saturday, it changes everything. just like during the heyday, if we win they have to respect us.

both teams have talent wood.. it's too early in the season, much less some of these rookie's careers to be making definitive comments on anything.. plus when the lakers get paul george and lebron next year, it won't matter what the celtics do.. lol
1 reply
oc, just remember you're arguing with a child who is already calling a barely 20 year old lonzo ball a bust while proclaiming the celtics the best team in the east all in the 1st week in november. in other words, don't waste your time. lol
1 reply
i said they weren't doing anything before the injury, dummy. and i said the heat could finish better. the season is 2 weeks old. don't plan your championship parade in november..
i told you they lost their best defensive players. that's true. and while the rookie looks good, we'll see what happens over the course of the year. that is the subject. i told you the celtics weren't doing anything this year and after two weeks and a fast start, i stand by that wholeheartedly.
the season is less than 2 weeks old you clown. celtics off to a fast start. it's a long season dummy, and bragging about the NBA in november only underscores what a ridiculous homer idiot you are.
