Katrina, What a neat tradition. My mom did something similar as do I. Except somehow we got on the kick of buying ornaments to commemorate the Halloween costumes my kids wore. So we have a chile pepper, Strawberry Shortcake, a ballerina, a vampire (yah!), Optimus Prime (Transformer) and even Ben 10. And I had to make my own Pokemon ornament from a stryofoam ball and sequins because there are no ornaments. Great post. Please do post pictures. Much is expected of the tree's durability!
