Yeah Tony. We know. Everybody's improving. You're pleased with everyone's progress. Dis,dat, da udder ting. Do you have any idea how much you're despised here? Have a bottle of champagne in the fridge for the day you're canned. Please disappear from our lives soon.
Get your Friday afternoon update here
Happy Friday, everyone. Here's the deal: Daniel Thomas (hamstring), Vontae Davis (hamstring) and Clyde Gates (groin) are listed by the Dolphins as questionable for Sunday's game versus Kansas City. All three were limited in practice Friday, meaning they did not have full participation in practic...
If Tom Brady. Aaron Rodgers, and Cam Newton were available tomorrow, Ireland would pass on all of them. He couldn't recognize talent if it was stuck in his rectum.
Could Ryan Mallett have made a difference for Miami?
This season is lost. I believe that. I've written that. The Dolphins record screams that. And the primary reason this season is lost and Tony Sparano and his team have less than half a chance every game day is because they are starting a backup quarterback and acting like he's legit. He is not. ...
One rumour that's actually true is that Ross is dating Ireland, which is why he's not getting fired and is not required to address the media. This week they're shacked up in the Keys till sunday.
Dating gossip is not getting on this blog
Well, I never thought I'd see the day, but unlike the mantra of this blog, there are some taboo subject here after all. Look, if there is a trade rumor, I surely will follow it and tell you all I can about it. If there is a coaching rumor, I surely will follow it and tell you all I can about it....
The fools turning this into a political forum need to be ignored. They do not represent the occupy miami movement. There is no anti semitic or racist platform in the occupy movement. These are nasty people making bogus posts with nothing better to do.
Dolphins close to being good? No way!
I never played in the NFL and made the Pro Bowl six times for playing offensive line like Dan Dierdorf did. And I am not a billionaire and the owner of the Miami Dolphins as Stephen Ross is. So when both made the point Sunday that the 0-7 Dolphins aren't really that bad relatively speaking I had...
Alright Armando. That's what I'm talking about. Enough with the b s from Ross. It's scary when you consider he actually believes this team is close and only needs minor tweaking. If that's the case we're doomed. It means that the "smart moves" he's talking about will be applying a couple of bandaids on massive open wounds.Your analysis of the multitude of needs we need to address is on point. His comment that we might win the rest of our games is troubling too. Is he so detached from reality? I'm not sure he'll fire his boyfriend Ireland either. What a mess.

The End the fed comments and the fake Occupy Miami comments have nothing to do with the movement. There is no anti semitic or racist platform associated with Occupy Miami.
Stephen Ross: No coaching change now
Another Dolphins game. Another loss -- this one a 20-17 loss to the New York Giants. Following the game, Miami Herald report Barry Jackson asked owner Stephen Ross if a change is coming. It is a weekly post-game ritual now as the Dolphins are 0-7 on the season. "No,' Ross replied. So into next w...
Don't worry fans deez guys are playin really hard for me. Dey're doin good tings out dere. dey're improving. Dey came up a little short today, but we're gonna look at da film and make adjustments......Tony Sparano

I can't wait for the press conference. It's always hysterical. Sparano: "Dese guys did alot of good tings out dere" "We just came up a little short dere." "we're making progress." "We're gonna look at da film and make adjustments."

Sparano fist pumped the Giants field goal
Live blog of Giants-Dolphins (with Cowher transcript)
There's a game at MetLife Stadium today. Remember? Dolphins versus Giants? I will have a live blog of the event starting in the comments section below. Join me there. Also, I have for you the complete statement from Bill Cowher on CBS today relative to his coaching future. As you know from my la...
Great piece Armando. I've been critical before because I felt you were letting alot of these guys off the hook too easily.Glad to see you call these clowns out. They need to stop pointing fingers and focus on their game although I'm not so sure I'm interested in meaningless wins at this point.Keep it up dude.
Oh, now it's the media's fault? Really?
So Reggie Bush said after Sunday's game that the Dolphins "stink." Then Yeremiah Bell told examiner.com that, in part, Bush stinks for saying that. And then today the Dolphins public relations machine tried to patch that crack in the locker room because, of course, 53 disparate men always agree ...
I can't wait for the day this incompetent sleazeball disappears from public view. Just so sick of the lame excuses and his contempt for the fans and the press. He loves brown nosing the players to keep them from turning on him for his incompetence. He believes we're too stupid to see through his bullsh-t. If you love the beach Sparano, don't come to Miami Beach. You're not welcome here. Go live in the panhandle. You'll fit in well in crackerville with the rest of the douchebags.
Sparano house is for sale but he's not quitting
Coach Tony Sparano has a perfectly plausible explanation for putting his Davie, Fl. home on the real estate market. "We're empty nesters," he said of he and his wife Jeanette. "When we moved into the house we had seven people living there. No it's only us two." Understandable since his daughter ...
I thhought Ross showed great civility and restraint by not smacking the chewing gum and sunglasses off of Tony Spumoni's face and telling him to get the f out of the stadium.
Perception may hurt Dolphins in hunt for Cowher
Sometimes perception is reality. And sometimes that's enough to hurt. Well, this morning, I'm told the Dolphins may have been hurt in a self inflicted way by the lasting pictures of former Florida coach Urban Meyer sharing time on the sideline with Dolphins owner Stephen Ross at Sun Life Stadium...

None of you seem to get it. It doesn't matter if Sparano is fired or we get the first pick in the draft. Ireland and Ross are close friends. Ireland isn't going anywhere and if you think he's drafting Luck, you're insane. We're doomed until Ross sells.
Broncos beat Dolphins 18-15 in OT
The Dolphins snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. God, they are terrible. They allowed Tim Tebow, who was sacked seven times and didn't seem to have a clue for 3 1/2 quarters to author a comeback victory. He helped the Broncos score two touchdowns and then get the winning field goal in over...
You got one thing right,Salguero you are a total sap. Until today I had respect for your opinion and analysis, but after reading you calling Sparano a good coach you're dead to me. Are you kidding me? Every sports analyst and fan has noticed and commented on the ineptitude of this bum. What games have you been watching? Are you drugged up or something? Did you see how he was content to go into the locker room at halftime without even attempting to score with enough time left to do so? Have you noticed the lack of preparation and conditioning? If he's a good coach to you I'd like to know what your idea of a good one is. I'd like to add you to the list of people fired. I sincerely hope the Herald sends you packing. You can follow Sparano wherever he goes and shed tears for him on the way. What a douc-ebag you turned out to be. Disgusting!!!!
Tony Sparano safe despite 'brutal' night
Tony Sparano is unlikely to be replaced this week, according to a source. And I'm starting to hate my job. I hate that the Dolphins terrible 0-5 start is roosting directly in the doorstep of Sparano, a good man and a good coach who is not blameless for his team's record but also is not completel...
The Jets may have their issues but are far superior to the piece of sh-t stinking up Sun Life Stadium these days. I don't see them beating anyone this year. Head case Brandon Marshall is gonna make the loss even more embarassing by running his mouth. If I were 0 and 4 I'd keep my mouth shut until I won a game. Also did anyone understand the gibberish Sparano was sayimg?
Dolphins healthier than Jets as Monday night approaches
The bye week was kind to the Dolphins because they have licked wounds well enough that when coaches meet Saturday evening to finalize which players will and will not travel, no one is definitely out of the running. Miami's toughest injury situations right now are Nolan Carroll (hamstring), Chris...
The fact that Ireland is staying on pretty much seals our fate FP4Gs. Ross has singlehandedly destroyed this franchise. Pretty sad for all of South Florida right now. Can't wait for the Heat to start playing again.
Brunch is served: Heaping helping of Andrew Luck
I hate doing this but I have no choice: It seems all you people care about is Andrew Luck. Oh, you have a passing interest in whether the Dolphins win one game or not. You want to know if the Dolphins are going to make a change at the top of their personnel department and on their coaching staff...
Would all of you get it through your thick f==ckin skulls once and for all. IRELAND IS NOT DRAFTING LUCK!!!!! and yes Ross is retaining him as gm. This team is history for years to come until Ross sells. Why is everyone deluding themselves with this Luck hysteria? It's not going to happen even if we go 0 and 16.

Ross is definitely keeping Sparano and Ireland. The Henne injury sealed the deal. It provided both with the necessary excuse for the losing season. All three have shown total disregard for the wishes of the fans. They all figure they know better than everyone else and will continue with bonehead decisions. Luck will not be drafted either. They're going down in flames with Henne as the starter. They're willing to wait a decade for him to develop.Of course Sun Life Circus will continue to attract fewer and fewer fans until the head clown is forced to sell. Sadly we're doomed for years to come with this crew.
Might losing Henne help Sparano save his job?; plus Marlins get trippy, Yankees are out (let's party!), Drew being Drew, Hope Solo redux & more
[You can still vote in our "Suck For Luck" poll in the blog post directly below this if you'd like. Also, this is your official invitation to join us on Twitter @gregcote] THE IMPACT OF HENNE'S SEASON-ENDING INJURY: Two points here. 1) The impact to the Dolphins and the remaining season wi...
What makes the "suck for luck' crowd believe these boneheads would have the intelligence to draft Luck in the first place?
Source: Dolphins '100 percent' not firing Sparano now
The Dolphins are 0-3 and they're in disbelief. They cannot believe they are 0-3. They cannot believe they got there by losing to the Cleveland Browns today, 17-16. But despite being in last place in the AFC East and one of only two teams standing at 0-3 as of this moment, the club is not plannin...
If Ross keeps this buffoon, he's a bigger moron than I ever imagined. Does he want an empty stadium? WTF???
