Andy NJ, Great post on Jake Long, can you imagine if he had a bonafide LG next to him on the line? Yes, we do need a QB and Ryan would have been nice but Jake Long was not a mistake by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm still pounding the drum for a legitimate TE.If Henne is gonna start next season then I believe he will need a "beast" of a TE to check down to.

One thing Henne needs is patience...All I see in Chad Henne is panic.I don't know if this can be taught.

Rob and DB..great to see more fans on board with Kaepernick! I like this kid better than the first rounders.My fear is that he has a great senior bowl and a great combine and puts himself in the second round.I think the cat is already out of the bag though...this guy can play QB.

The talent scouts that get paid so much to evaluate talent sure S@#$ the bed year in and year out.This is the worst year in a long time to draft a QB and it looks like we may have to.Hopefully we get luck this time.

NHFINSFAN, I must have gave you the impression that I was all for us drafting him....I am not.I just think it is unfair to compare him to a piece of dirt like JaMarcus Russell just because he is a big athletic QB...I think size and athleticism is where the comparisons should end.

Home,are you telling us that Tebow has "made it" in the NFL already? He made it to the NFL but I think the jury is still out.I am not doubting him and I never have I just think it is still a little premature to say he "made it"

I don't know if Newton's skills will translate well into the NFL but I do know that I am sick and tired of hearing people compare him to JaMarcus Russell...that to me is just idiotic and baseless.

With so many holes to fill I wouldn't mind if we took a long look at some of the later round QB's including Colin Kaepernik.I believe a RT is very necessary as well as a blazing fast RB.I would love to get that 2nd round pick back!

I have been watching the same team you are.I didn't mean to come off as we are as good pound for pound as NE.I simply meant to point out that if played correctly we could be in alot better situation than we are.I'm sayin four wide with Ricky or Ronnie everyone running a different route with some underneath crossing routes we might find some 3rd down success.NE doesn't have a ton of talented receivers like you may believe.What NE does do is put them in the best possible position to make a play.Did you see that Woodhead run out of the buch formation last night? WR's blocking downfield..Jets never saw it coming.It wasn't just a 3 receiver standard formation with the same blocking scheme play in and play out.Sometimes the back stayed home to block..sometimes the TE...Sometime the back got the ball..this was all done with the same formation.I can't believe that you think NE has so much more talent than we do.IT is not just personnel it is GREAT coaching all the way around.Oh,and who is our one marginal TE? I have not seem him in awhile.LOL I'll give you the QB and TE's but Brady make the o-line and receivers look better than they are and although they haven't been playing like it Ronnie and Ricky are a hell of alot more talented than anything the Pats have.
