Franklin has been the last OL player on that side a number of times this season though. They have been moving Fox to the right side to line up next to Pipho all year. Just didn't have as much quick passes with him there this week it seems. Might also be that they ran play action usually when they were in that formation. I don't know for sure though.

not sure how much the TEs issue fell on the DBs though. and spiller being open on wheel routes is on the DBs since no scheme is going to draw up having a LB covering Spiller without help over top. Clemson just ran Ford right in front of the safeties to get their attention and they would lose track of helping on Spiller.

well, yeah you beat me to it. and the t/o issue was just an in game issue. nothing can be done about it once its done. and i've come to expect Randy to say whatever he thinks will lead to the least follow up questions being asked. although sometimes it leads to more.

i thought the biggest weakness was the lack of pass rush since it all starts up front. but the LBs in coverage...i didn't really pay that much attention to it. just saw TEs wide open a lot. not sure if they were lost in a zone or lost in man coverage. but either way it didn't look good.

I'd rather take Lamar Odom over Artest for the team we got right now. Adding Odom takes some of the pressure off whoever is the PG since Odom can handle and distribute so well. And JB, there is no way the Wizards would have Griffin learn behind Songalia. Songalia doesn't even start for them if everyone is healthy. Would be behind Jamison if he doesn't get put in the starting line up right away.
