Thanks for your comment Elise. Two years later, people still consistently click over here as a result of doing a Google search for Paul.

Greg, I found a list of farms with CSA's through the state web site, Dept. of Agriculture.

Agree with you 100%, Bits. I took two jobs out of college before I found one in the field I wanted.

Devin, I was a little disappointed in two John Mayer as well, until I discovered that Mrs. Dirkmonster's iTunes usage counts as well. An iTunes house divided cannot stand.

Bitsy, Yes - I've gotten to see him several times. Your comment reminded me how outraged you were over that whole incident :)

Oops, guess I'm logged in as you. For anyone reading this, Dirk Plantinga was never a little girl. The above post was written by me, his wife. Sorry, honey.

When I was a little girl, I loved my small-town church, Cottage Grove Baptist. That church was really focused on teaching kids about Jesus, and they made it non-judgmental and fun. I looked forward to being there. The only other time I've had a similar feeling about a church was BCC when we had our great small groups. I'd love to get that sense of belonging back.. -Lyn

Devin, Yes indeed. And who can forget the quaint shopping promised on OHB near Highway 70? That turned into a weekly rate hotel and a gas station that went out of business. I probably can get another 5 posts worth of Crafton Bashing. Thanks!

Disgusted citizen, Thanks for reading my blog and leaving a comment. Obviously I wasn't there (you were) but I would be surprised if my friend destroyed any garden. It also sounds like these were temporary fences and would be taken down ultimately anyway. In my view escaping a blocked exit can be different than destroying property and I'm pretty certain my friend did not behave in any manner I'd be embarrassed for my children to see. Again, thanks for contributing your perspective however.

The aviator sunglasses, the jacket, the bike, the forest...you're right, it's all working toward some kind of James Bond meets National Geographic.

Regarding the Dirmonster challenge, it will be 5 posts every calendar week, Sunday-Saturday. Since "The Challenge" started on a Thursday however, I won't try to force 5 posts in this week, unless of course material warrants (if it ever does).
