A touching story with a good lesson attached. My family came to a similar realization several years back. There's 6 of us kids, and at the time most of us were in high school or college so buying gifts for everyone was too much. We eventually voted on going to the movies after Christmas brunch, and we've kept it as a tradition. Much more fun and since most of us have similar tastes in movies we can all see the same movie together. :)
