I think Leiweke is in for a pricey rude awakening when attendance doesn't come anywhere close to that and might even drop this year - people do not want to have to drive downtown for several days. Of course, until LAFF gets a bigger roster of must-see premieres, the festival is going to remain an also-ran one on par with Santa Barbara and Telluride.
