In fact, they were Caucasian males in the purest sense of the word. And their ilk does seem to be anti-government. And Sirota is wrong... they will be used as examples of their kind. Because the Chechens are famous for attacks on civilians in a theater and slaughtering hundreds of little children in Beslan on their first day of school. So yes, white males can be terrorists. o__O Dang! Froggy, my experience with people with BPD is NOT with 320-lb linebackers. The ones I know have usually been females who are more a danger to themselves than anyone else. And medicated, they are reasonably functioning. Your possession story is terrifying. And I can't imagine what other stories you have to tell. Our mental health system isn't responsive to the people out there with real needs. We're too busy going after the sane people who present no danger and leaving the insane to victimize us... because their "rights" take precedence over everyone else's up until and just after that moment when they create countless new victims. All in the name of "compassion." Though having a database of people who have had mental health counselling and using that to keep people from buying weapons could be used against the military returning... it would be further disincentive to getting counselling for PTSD for our returnees.

I'd bet money there are more than a few intelligent Senators who barely squeaked by in their own jurisdictions who will not be eager to bail water out of Barry's sinking ship. Already some have their eyes on 2014 and some 2016. Everything they do and vote for can be held against them and already Barry is spending valuable political capital with his "We gave her bullshit to spew in the interviews, so lay off Secy Rice, come after me". As Barry increasingly becomes yesterday's political news, those who want their own futures will stand up to him. Should make things less of a cakewalk than Barry "Mandate" Obama thinks it will be. And that goes for putting forward a name of a guy most of the country didn't want back in 2004. And if he has any desire to throw his hat back in the ring in 2016, Kerry is not going to want to preside over Barry's complete demolition of the US Military. I see any smart Dem who wants a political future heading for the exits as quickly after noon on Inauguration Day as they can move their feet.

Oh, I think there are some Dems who smell chum in the water already and they have their sights set on the wide open 2016 campaign that will begin somewhere about noon on Inauguration Day 2013. They have looked at the polls and see that being white, they can't count on a large black turnout for their own candidacies. And to win a general election, they can't tick off the scant 50% of the voters they need. So it should be interesting to see who sticks their head up and gives ol' Barry the raspberry in the next couple months. He's a lame duck who plans to preside over the downfall of our economy, and no smart Dem who wants to keep their job will get re-elected or make President by playing along. Can't imagine there won't be a few who would care to vote yes on a JEffingKerry SecDef. Votes like that come back to haunt you, especially in purple states.

Depends... on who they try to stuff into his old job now. Now putting their own person into DCI's chair should be interesting. He was an easy pre-election confirmation and apparently it seems they effectively neutered him. So to speak. The real tale will be who the replacement candidate is now that he's served his purpose and his credibility is shot.

Just got back from reading the entire Krauthammer article. Very good find, Matt. The comments under it are telling. One made the hair on my neck stand up... asking what dirt the Chicago thugs had on Justice Roberts to make him cave at the last minute on the health care bill. That is going to be the real legacy of this, far beyond Benghazi... the question that everyone who caved to the Chicago machine these 8 years (unless he is somehow impeached and removed from office), did so because they had dirt on them. Everyone will end up tarnished by association.

It's a day late and a dollar short. And he's been forced to. 4 weeks ago it might have made a difference to the USA. Now he has no credibility. Deservedly so. He buttressed the foreign policy credibility of the Original Emperor with No Clothes. And now he's found out what happens to everyone Barry uses... once he's no longer useful all of a sudden he finds himself out the door. FBI Director, watch your back. You're probably next if you were a part of this charade and know too much. Davey boy got played by the Chicago thugs, gave Barry credibility and ended up without any left for himself. Too bad there are good men who are dead now mixed into this story.

And UJ, I guess the only good thing in all of this is that Barry owns it... this all reveals the absolute chaos in his administration, the lies and coverups (wow... they even have awakened the attention of that Doyenne of Transparency Nancy Pelosi over this!) The real question is who knew what, when, did Holder tell his best Buddy about all this and was Petraeus effectively neutered months ago... and was he toeing the party line? The truth will come out and it will make the president look like his judgment is as flawed as Petraeus's? (Really? You can't find someone more discrete not to share classified info in a public speech?) (I'm fascinated by the central part played by Jill Khawam Kelley in all this and how close she became to the Petraeus family and Gen. Kelley. How well was her access vetted?) And all this comes out while they're still counting the Florida votes. Just peachy.

Don't worry, while everyone is talking about the Khawam twins and the salacious emails, Barry is busy signing our country's economic future away with executive orders. Well, at least the sex part will make the press have to talk about Benghazi and what Petraeus knew and when he knew it and why he remained silent (To keep his job? Was there a threat of exposure?) on the details of why his station was being overrun while he was sending love notes on his email account. Whatever, at the very basis it raises the question of why our DCI appointee wasn't given a polygraph before he went in to service like everyone else. And maybe the Senate needs to look more closely at the new crop of people to be in charge. John Kerry? DOD? REALLY???! I'm with Jim Shawley... shoot me now. The next four years are not going to go well for America.
