Great commentary. Although actually that jackwagon Sirota was accidentally right. The terrorists were two white anti-government extremists. In fact, they were Caucasian males in the purest sense of the word. And their ilk does seem to be anti-government. And Sirota is wrong... they will be used as examples of their kind. Because the Chechens are famous for attacks on civilians in a theater and slaughtering hundreds of little children in Beslan on their first day of school.
So yes, white males can be terrorists. Though I'm sure this isn't quite the detail Sirota was hoping for.
Hoping it was Right Wing Whitey
This is a picture of liberal ass-clown David Sirota. Nearly every time there is a horrific incident these days, one of these Sirota-like wankers tries to pin it on the Tea Party, Republicans, talk radio or in this case White American males, period. A class, it should be noted, that includes th...
We were warned. And someone let him back in. The doors to America should have been closed to him forever. We bend over backwards so as not to offend and end up drowning in a pool of blood. And by the way, if guns are illegal in Massachusetts, how did they get them? So much for handgun bans.
It Was What We Thought, And What We Could Learn....
First of all; God Bless the sheepdogs for taking it to these two ass-clowns in a very manly manner When you find the other one; Lather, Rinse, Repeat and wash that Islamist terrorist right out of your hair. The Chechens have a reputation for unbelievable savagery. And turds like Cenk Uygar tal...

Hero Finally Recognized: Chaplain receives Medal of Honor Posthumously for actions saving lives during Korean War

I get tired of the "women carry babies" argument. Having done so, I'll just say... none of mine were 80 lbs.
Newsflash: Infantry troops carry heavy loads! Who Knew?
In a story that will surprise no one who has even a lick of common sense and/or intellectual honesty, the national director of physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Veterans Health Administration suggests that women may have significant difficulty with the heavy loads toted by combat arms ...
Matt, this one makes my brain smile. The little twins in their brand new dresses, ponchos and shoes and socks... I'll bet mommy looks even prettier! What an exciting day for them all. We need to bring all our guys home immediately now that we've decided we're not there to do anything anymore. No point anyone else dying for a cause the president doesn't believe in.
Phtoto: Waiting for Daddy
Two little girls dance with anticipation as they wait for a welcoming home ceremony to begin on Fort Steward, Ga., March, 7, 2013. Fifty soldiers, assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division's 1st Battalion, 9th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, returned home after being deployed for...

Dead Tango dance time
The Long War Journal says a bad guy has returned to his component molecules (probably). The Taliban's most vaunted commander in Nuristan and Kunar provinces, Sheikh Dost Mohammed, has been killed along with three other Taliban figures in a US drone strike, according to Bokhdi News, citing an ...

Did North Korea test a bomb for the Mullahs?
My friend Jim Robbins makes a terrifying, but all too plausible point in USA Today. So far, the case that Iran already has the bomb is largely circumstantial. Shortly after North Korea announced this month that it had successfully carried out its third underground nuclear test, Saudi Arabian new...
And we have ol' Barry denying that sequestration was his idea and scaring the little people that if they don't roll over and give him what he wants, funds will be cut and first responders will go away and your house will burn down and... wait. What? In what world are first responders paid with Federal funds? Someone needs to give Constitutional Scholar a talking to. If he'd a done his homework for 4 years he'd a knowed that.
(I think of how we also need to send Harry Reid back to his pomegranate groves before he destroys everything. What an awful man!)
Oh, and memo to Chris Christie... if sequestration happens, what of those funds to help out the folks on your shores? How's that big ol' hug for the cameras you gave Barry before the election working for you? Hmmm?
General Odierno Declares "The Greatest Threat to Our National Security" is Congress
“The Army has been in a state of continuous war for nearly 12 years, the longest in our nation’s history,” Odierno said, “but today, in my opinion, the greatest threat to our national security is the fiscal uncertainty resulting from the lack of predictability in the budget cycle.” The United St...
UJ, great post... but to misquote Willie (shakespear, not clinton), "the thought of what crappier nominee lies beyond... when we have shuffled off this Hegel foil must give us pause..."
Chuck Hagel- Wrong for so many reasons
It was pretty entertaining to see Chuck Hagel get his ass handed to him at his confirmation hearings yesterday. He showed a lack or preparation, a deficit of intellect and made a flailing, failing attempt to change every substantive policy statement he had made in his adult life. He showed he wa...

Skeet Shooter in Chief challenged to match
Heh. Double Barrel Barry has been called out by Rep Marsha Blackburn. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, joined a chorus of skeptics who questioned President Barack Obama's recent comments about his hobby of skeet shooting, a sport where participants fire shotguns to break airborne clay disks. ...
Shhh... we'll pretend we don't hear jokes about how the Iranians refer to him as "Meymoon Antarinejad" (Meymoon, being the Persian word for Monkey and Antar being another version, or... so I hear....)
Ahmadinejad first Iranian astronaut
Oops I misunderstood the title of this article. Iran says it has successfully sent a monkey into space. The primate travelled in a Pishgam rocket, which reached an altitude of some 120km (75 miles) for a sub-orbital flight before "returning its shipment intact", the defence ministry said. I'm s...
Once again, Valerie beat me to the punch. I'm so jaded this is the only political revolution song that will ever make sense.
Anti-Authoritarian Anthems
I am feeling a bit oppressed by the state. The Ministry of Truth tells me the Ministry of Plenty will ensure I have as much little as I have earned need. The looters and moochers are running things and I find myself asking "Who is John Galt?" So I needed an antidote to antipathy. And this mornin...
UJ, can't imagine how you reacted to Ol' Jokin' Joe's comment that he's "shooting for Tuesday" to meet with Barry and that "there is no silver bullet to stop the killing."
He's the gift that keeps on giving. Your post, as usual, amusing and spot on.
Of course no one covers the fact that a Texan with a concealed carry kept an incident in a San Antonio theater from becoming worse... not as much gun violence in states like Texas or Virginia where you never know who might shoot you dead if you look like a threat.
Mr. Perennial Protection for Him and His makes my stomach turn. The hypocrisy is right up there with Al "Jazeera" Gore.
How many bullets to kill a deer?
Gov. Andrew Cuomo of NY is a quite ordinary political tool of the left. Consequently he is making quite ordinarily toolish statements about gun control. “I say to you forget the extremists. It’s simple — no one hunts with an assault rifle. No one needs 10 bullets to kill a deer and too many peo...
o__O Dang! Froggy, my experience with people with BPD is NOT with 320-lb linebackers. The ones I know have usually been females who are more a danger to themselves than anyone else. And medicated, they are reasonably functioning.
Your possession story is terrifying. And I can't imagine what other stories you have to tell. Our mental health system isn't responsive to the people out there with real needs. We're too busy going after the sane people who present no danger and leaving the insane to victimize us... because their "rights" take precedence over everyone else's up until and just after that moment when they create countless new victims. All in the name of "compassion."
Though having a database of people who have had mental health counselling and using that to keep people from buying weapons could be used against the military returning... it would be further disincentive to getting counselling for PTSD for our returnees.
Gun Control vs. Teh Crazy
Let me first stipulate and make plain that gun control has no role in preventing mass shootings like the ones in CT or CO. I understand that people want to debate that, but allow me to make a few points regarding the mental health situation in the US or at least in CA. After leaving active du...
Standing ovation, Froggy. Masterfully said. Though I would quibble that "bipolar disorder" necessarily ranks with schizophrenia. There are many successfully functioning individuals out there with BD who stay on their lithium and manage to keep jobs and stay within the bounds of society.

Blue submarine? Really? The Iranians alternate between scaring the crap out of me with a dirty bombish semi-success scenario for their nuke program and stuff like this. Unfortunately we have to err in the side of caution, so this lovely bit of Disny-esque 20,000 leagues really needs to bec...
I'd bet money there are more than a few intelligent Senators who barely squeaked by in their own jurisdictions who will not be eager to bail water out of Barry's sinking ship. Already some have their eyes on 2014 and some 2016. Everything they do and vote for can be held against them and already Barry is spending valuable political capital with his "We gave her bullshit to spew in the interviews, so lay off Secy Rice, come after me". As Barry increasingly becomes yesterday's political news, those who want their own futures will stand up to him. Should make things less of a cakewalk than Barry "Mandate" Obama thinks it will be. And that goes for putting forward a name of a guy most of the country didn't want back in 2004. And if he has any desire to throw his hat back in the ring in 2016, Kerry is not going to want to preside over Barry's complete demolition of the US Military. I see any smart Dem who wants a political future heading for the exits as quickly after noon on Inauguration Day as they can move their feet.
F John Kerry for Sec Def
I truly wish this was a joke, well the pic is, or not, but sadly the chances of Kerry becoming the next Sec Def are pretty good. That makes me want to join the Israeli Defense Force....Hmmmmm. Reader Patrick sends this reminder of who Kerry's true supporters are.
Oh, I think there are some Dems who smell chum in the water already and they have their sights set on the wide open 2016 campaign that will begin somewhere about noon on Inauguration Day 2013.
They have looked at the polls and see that being white, they can't count on a large black turnout for their own candidacies. And to win a general election, they can't tick off the scant 50% of the voters they need. So it should be interesting to see who sticks their head up and gives ol' Barry the raspberry in the next couple months. He's a lame duck who plans to preside over the downfall of our economy, and no smart Dem who wants to keep their job will get re-elected or make President by playing along. Can't imagine there won't be a few who would care to vote yes on a JEffingKerry SecDef. Votes like that come back to haunt you, especially in purple states.
Don't Talk To Me About Respect....
Site Note: From this time forward, the President will be known and called by this writer as the AHAC (Amateur Hour Ass-Clown)... So, the AHAC comes out after being re-elected with the idea that maybe a change at the top of DoD might be in order, since according to him, he told DoD, CIA, DoS and...
Depends... on who they try to stuff into his old job now. Now putting their own person into DCI's chair should be interesting. He was an easy pre-election confirmation and apparently it seems they effectively neutered him. So to speak. The real tale will be who the replacement candidate is now that he's served his purpose and his credibility is shot.
President Obama and GEN (ret) Petraeus - Conspiracy Theory or Occam's Razor

Just got back from reading the entire Krauthammer article. Very good find, Matt. The comments under it are telling. One made the hair on my neck stand up... asking what dirt the Chicago thugs had on Justice Roberts to make him cave at the last minute on the health care bill. That is going to be the real legacy of this, far beyond Benghazi... the question that everyone who caved to the Chicago machine these 8 years (unless he is somehow impeached and removed from office), did so because they had dirt on them.
Everyone will end up tarnished by association.

Well, he's already lied when he said it was a flash mob angry over a movie. Now we're supposed to think he's a truth teller?
Benghazi v. Trousergate
Priorities seem a might bit skewed to me. A US ambassador and 3 Americans are killed and the media can't be bothered to even ask why. A couple of Generals screw around and they hit full over drive. The only up side is that now Bengahzi will come up as we find out what Petraeus knew, but why th...
Matt, do us the favor and don't quote that addle-brained fool Nancy. (Drinking game... take a swig every time she says "woman" during her little speech today. You'll be hammered by the end.) She thinks as long as someone has a (empty) uterus where her brain should be that qualifies her to make decisions for others.
Having said that, Petraeus remained silent when his words would have made a difference. He let Barry throw the whole intel community under the bus and he didn't utter a peep. I know we talked about that at B-5. His curious silence. Now we know chances are he was probably drummed into silence by fear of exposure. I don't care if he tells the truth now. It's a day late and a dollar short. And he's been forced to. 4 weeks ago it might have made a difference to the USA. Now he has no credibility. Deservedly so. He buttressed the foreign policy credibility of the Original Emperor with No Clothes. And now he's found out what happens to everyone Barry uses... once he's no longer useful all of a sudden he finds himself out the door. FBI Director, watch your back. You're probably next if you were a part of this charade and know too much. Davey boy got played by the Chicago thugs, gave Barry credibility and ended up without any left for himself. Too bad there are good men who are dead now mixed into this story.

And UJ, I guess the only good thing in all of this is that Barry owns it... this all reveals the absolute chaos in his administration, the lies and coverups (wow... they even have awakened the attention of that Doyenne of Transparency Nancy Pelosi over this!) The real question is who knew what, when, did Holder tell his best Buddy about all this and was Petraeus effectively neutered months ago... and was he toeing the party line? The truth will come out and it will make the president look like his judgment is as flawed as Petraeus's? (Really? You can't find someone more discrete not to share classified info in a public speech?) (I'm fascinated by the central part played by Jill Khawam Kelley in all this and how close she became to the Petraeus family and Gen. Kelley. How well was her access vetted?) And all this comes out while they're still counting the Florida votes. Just peachy.

Don't worry, while everyone is talking about the Khawam twins and the salacious emails, Barry is busy signing our country's economic future away with executive orders.
Well, at least the sex part will make the press have to talk about Benghazi and what Petraeus knew and when he knew it and why he remained silent (To keep his job? Was there a threat of exposure?) on the details of why his station was being overrun while he was sending love notes on his email account. Whatever, at the very basis it raises the question of why our DCI appointee wasn't given a polygraph before he went in to service like everyone else. And maybe the Senate needs to look more closely at the new crop of people to be in charge. John Kerry? DOD? REALLY???! I'm with Jim Shawley... shoot me now. The next four years are not going to go well for America.
